Well, honestly I don’t know what to say about that; I’m still learning the area. Are their any SNK heads that frequent FFA? I was meaning to go up there yesterday but had some transportation constraints. We can at least do the local thing for folks thats close to that arcade and do gatherings like that…then like twice a month or so do a sorta bigger gathering…just got to find a place to do that…damn!!! Anyway, I can fit about 6-7 folks at my sisters crib and she’s suppose to get an LCD TV soon (and I’m getting one too in the bedroom) So if anything I can fit a couple of folks in there too. In the meantime I want to meet up with you guys if thats cool…anyone going to FFA next week?
I go to FFA every now and then since it’s only about an hour away from my home though AI is about 2 hours for me to go there. FFA does have GArou but the main problem with that mame cab is the button layout is all messed up. Even though I can kinda play it on with that button layout but it gets pretty anoying if your more adjusted to the classic layout or even box. If you can host something that would be great I can breing an extra TV and my setups as well. If you have anything set in stone coming soon let us know for sure ahead of time so everyone can setup their schedules as well. Welcome to SoCal also if I forgot to metion that. Also on a side note I know 3 other arcades in SoCal that have Garou one being Camelot with their snk neogeo cab. The other arcade being a Tilt in the Mission Hills Mall in San Diego another neogeo cab. The last/first time I was at Camelot the neogeo cab buttons weren’t responding or working at times. The one in San Diego was perfect though I dont know if that arcade is still open or if the cab is still even there. There is also the AV Mall in Palmdale with its Tilt Arcade that is about 10 mins from my pad but the cab is garbage. The 2nd player side is pretty much destroyed beyond repairs and even the sticks/buttons are crap.
Oh yeah I will definitely let you guys know ahead of time; it sucks that I don’t have my own place at the moment but I’m sure my sister won’t mind to much…right now though the gatherings will have to be around the 3-4 limit though since its not my place you know? Yeah I definitely need to head up to FFA sometime. The arcade thats the closest to me other than FFA is Castle Park, and that place blows major chunks; they have a DDR there that I play (I’m trying to get back into that too lol) but no one really comes up there but little kids, and the only fighting games they have is Soul Calibur 2 (which is broken), Tekken 4 (my favorite Tekken by the way), Marvel vs. Capcom 1 (only two buttons work on the player 1 side) and I think thats it. They use to have Tekken 5 but they took that out. But I will let you know if I decide to do a gathering…just want to meet you guys first lol. I’m also trying to get an arcade stick so I can learn better on that but trying to decide which one to purchase–I came so close to buying an XArcade but decided to get a refund on it since a lot of folks are saying its straight trash.
I can probably host a gathering at my place sometime…

the only playable SNK game at FFA is NeoGeo Battle Coliseum. The buttons work fine, i just find the sticks to be WAY too stiff. I really wish NGBC was on one of the Japanese cabinets, cause they have crap like Virtua Tennis on them.
My pad is pretty close to Wicked’s. Only thing that’s gonna be a problem is that we have limited TV’s. So can one of you guys bring one of the TV’s just in case ^_^; ?? Plus, can someone bring a heater as well?? I’ll have a small one plugged in but I doubt that might do any good. So if we do have one then TV’s and heaters; don’t forget.
I can bring both a TV and Heater.
Damn I wish my 13 inch still worked otherwise I would bring that…well I can bring the games and snacks lol

Yeah sorry about being m.i.a. when it came to the gatherings. I’ve been pretty busy and i’m gonna have to wait til the summertime comes around, and then I can have more gatherings outdoors then with bbq + pool. But yeah exiled if you or anybody else do decide to have a gathering in the meantime, maybe I can bring some equipment too. 
I’ll be happy to host it at my place…

A Sat would be nice since that is usually the only real day I have off somewhat, every other day is bad for me.
