Yup, I got a T5
I’m about to buy a MAS stick in a week or 2.
Then I’ll get another 1 within the next couple of months.
We’re moving AGAIN
and the new house is way better for something like a gathering.
We’ll hopefully be in the house in early March, so maybe mid-March I should have something done.
And if I can get a job, then we could monthlies, but this is still in the “maybe” stages.
Where do u plan to buy the stick ?
Is it from the old asian guy in OC ? If so, can u give me his new phone# or address coz I think I lost his recent business card.
yeah I know that website. The thing is that he moves all the time from place to place, and her wife doesnt update their address on the website.
Last time I went with him he was living in her wife’s parents house and he had a small shack in the back where he made the sticks ( the display was on the living room … LOL !!! ).

I really wish they fixed the button layout on the FFA Mame cab. I’m sure if that was all good to go more people would probably find interest in some of the SNK games on the cab. I’m looking fopward to the next gathering as well, should be fun.
Noc, I’m looking forward to learning some tricks-of-the-trade from you in Garou. I can’t seem to pick up the game very well.
If you guys are down to learn it next gathering just ask what you need help in or what not. Giby and I know the game pretty deep so we know just about everything you need to learn.
Wow good to know now that quite a few kof xi players go to AI. I live in long beach and usually go on Fridays. I can head down on sat as well if ppl show up. You guys should be able to pick me out from every one else. I generally use Whip/Elizabeth/??? . I wouldnt mind house matches as well if it’s reasonably closer to where I live.
I have been last sunday night and the one before that at AI to play some KOF. The sticks are a pain in the ass as well as the button layout ( its allright for asian people that have small hands but not for the rest. I prefer 360s or competition sticks thats why I prefer to play on console with my own MAS stick ).
I dunno who went there last sunday and played XI while I was playing 98, but those white boys sucked pretty bad.
I wanna play again XI and start playing NGBC competitively, but I prefer console one million times than going to an arcade and depend on their crappy sticks.
Right now I have monday mornings off, maybe tuesdays or thursdays nights off, and sundays. If anyone is up for some COMPETITIVE matches, well lemme know. Im not up for casual just for fun games.

Damn I’m late as hell! I just noticed that this post was here; if ya’ll don’t know already (which I know a few of you have noticed me and some of my postings on this site lol), I just moved out here in Van Nuys, CA from Virginia and trying to meet up with some fighting gameheads around in the area…specifically of the SNK type. It seems its way more SNK heads out here than on the East Coast which I am really happy to hear! I play Capcom games too but I’m more of an SNK head than anything. Right now I don’t have a certain arcade that I go to but I’ve heard that FFA is the place to go; thinking about going up there today with the nephew so I can finally get some comp and brush up on my skills; trying to get back into the fighting game scene period. If anyone plans to host a fighting game get-together I’m willing to bring my games over for a little comp. Right now I’m staying with my sister right now until I get myself on my feet but I can probably host a couple myself. It’ll be good for me to get some comp in since I’m trying to get back into things and meet new friends in the area…anyone down?
NOTE: I’m just starting to learn the arcade sticks so if any of ya’ll ever do go up against me don’t rape me too bad ok??? lol
Well the main problem for all of us is that everyone is pretty divided up in SoCal so it’s hard setting up gatherings. The first gathering we’ve had so far was at Wicked Elements pad but I’m guessing he can’t do them as often. So the main problem is having a place to have a gathering at were it’s not too far from everyone. If you can host something at your sisters pad then that could work out. Only thing is what would be the max amount of people you can have over at once? Hopefully someone can host something soon cause I know no one wants to drive out to Lancaster now :wonder:.
Just wondering, are there any arcades in SoCal that have Garou MOTW? :wonder:
technically FFA does, but that machine is a total pile. Thing hardly works. So let me take that back, FFA does not have Garou :sad:
