Just standard PS2 will be fine. So just bring your PS2 controller unless someone else wants to bring another console I guess. I pretty have most fighting games except KOF 98 and the Fatal Fury games. So if you can, will you guys bring those games??

Yeah thats cool I can do that, but the most recent Fatal Fury game I have that I’m sure you guys will want to play is on Dreamcast (Garou) so do you still want me to bring that? And also the closest thing I have to KOF '98 is Dreammatch '99 on the Dreamcast. If so I’m bringing my dreamcast controller too lol
Both versions of those games are garbage on the DC version, I’ll be brining my PS2 with everything except KoF:MIRA. So all you really need is you PSX/PS2 pad that you use when playing.

the 15th? if i can go, i can bring KoF MIRA, SST, KoFXI, NGBC, and Garou. Maybe a tv and a jap ps2 as well.

Garou on DC has missing frames, sound out of sync, Terry’s stage has slow down and timings are also off. I know that 98 on DC is also a lot different from the arcade version as well. I own the arcade versions of both of those games and also have Garou for PS2 which is the best port closer to the arcade version.
Yeah if you play the dc versions of garou and 98(dream match 99’) side by side with the arcade versions, the problems of the dc ports becomes really apparent.
Oh wow I didnt know that…I didnt know Garou was released on PS2 period and I also didn’t know they had KOF’98 on PS2. Well I gotta play your versions and see how well they play for real! I’m still good with my Dreamcast versions though:rofl:dont feel like putting out the dough to get another version of both

Uhhh guys, plz raise your hand if you’re all in favor of the 15th. I need to know NOW so I can let my boss know two weeks ahead for a day off on that day. If I end up doing that and everyone pulls a no-show, then I miss a valuable work day. :sad:
