I’m just upset a channel called Cartoon Network, would stoop to airing anything live action in the first place. Adult Swim is intended for adults, but heaven forbid the one channel dedicated to animated media would play stuff in that genre.
I have to agree with the OP on this. Not only is this show not funny, it’s not really even sensical in any way. I don’t care for Metalacolypse, but I understand how people can like that show, it’s just not my thing. Nor do I care for ATHF, but again, I understand how people can like that too. But Tim & Eric is just really really stupid. Random does not equal funny.

But hey, a lot of stuff on TV that was funny has fallen off. Here’s looking at you FAMILY GUY. This season has been brutal. People don’t have infinite ideas, even if they think they do.
This is one of my favorite shows on A.S. I think the comedy is brilliant, and not even in a “this is suppose to be intellectual satire, if you don’t understand it or like it you’re an idiot” way either. I just feel that almost everything they do is just genuinely funny and the fact that its completely absurd only makes it funnier.

[adultswim]'s real enemy is fucking King of the Hill. So [adultswim] has two live shows. They’re still better than King of the Hill. I don’t see how they can play an hour of propane-based “humor”. Everything else on A.S. is a cartoon, now. Seriously…has anyone ever liked King of the Hill? I’ve never met a single person that does.
i don’t like king of the hill either as seems to think that’s the greatest shit since sliced bread, it’s basically a wasted hour of airspace i switch to something else untill eleven when family guy comes on

For me, Adult Swim lost it the day 70/30 Productions shut down and denied us the chance at ever getting another season of Frisky Dingo.
I love Metalocolypse, Aqua Teen, Home Movies, and many others. But FD was really a once in a lifetime thing, and I don’t think they’ll ever top it.
I enjoy King of the Hill, but not as much as I enjoy most shows.
Dale Gribble on the other hand, is one of my favorite characters of all time.
These shows’ humor is so “subtle” that the shows aren’t even funny.
So I said two years ago in this thread that the show wasn’t funny. I watched a few more episodes to see if I judged it unfairly, and the shit still sucks. I realize that it’s different strokes for different folks, but I just can’t get with Tim and Eric.
When it comes to their live action/experimental shows, [as] just likes to throw shows out there and see what sticks to the wall.
Fat Guy Stuck in the Internet - horrible.
Xavier Renegade Angel - Not live action, but still horrible.
Saul of the Molemen - horrible.
Tom Goes to the Mayor - Better than Tim & Eric, but still didn’t like it.
12oz. Mouse - Show never made any sense and wasn’t at all funny.
Mighty Boosh- Oddly enough, I don’t dislike this show for some reason. It’s much more tolerable than the above shows.
With some shows I find that you have to let them grow on you. Some of their animated shows (which I used to hate) have grown on me to the point where they’ve become pretty funny: Metalocalypse, Squidbillies, and Stroker and Hoop. I think Drinky Crow is in this category too.
Other shows are funny right off the bat like ATHF, Frisky Dingo, Super Jail and Venture Bros.

Super Jail is a show that basically saved me money and perhaps permanent brain damage that I would get from doing too much drugs. It has it’s moments but holy crap are the creators smoking something crazy. Frisky Dingo has had it’s moments too. Especially about that military chick that most people thought she was a “guy with killer ta-tas”. I forget the name but it was quite funny.
I haven’t watched adult swim in forever but yall mentioning they are adding even more live entertaiment? Come on… CN seems to be pushing for it more and more now. Hell they added a block of it called CN Real. I wouldn’t think animated entertainment has stinks so bad that they would have to resort to this? But then again I suppose live entertainment is cheaper to produce than animated entertainment.
