So, what do you think of Street Fighter 3:2nd Impact?

It would only mean different top tiers.

Sorry for being an illiterate fuck…

Urien’s voice and portrait are both retarded in 2i.

Ryu’s stage music makes up for it though.

2 words, “STUN LOLZ”

And add a liberal sprinkling of, “but his DP was so good in NG and 2I :((((”. Nevemind that his DP wasn’t even on the list of things that made him a good character.

I guess that’s just the way tiers go… Sometimes you’re up and sometimes you’re down…

Sean definitely should’ve kept his SRK follow-up.

hell anytype of range would have been nice

I like the idea of being able to do supers off … everything. lol…

This is true only if Ken, Chun, and Yun are “God” in third strike. No one plays second impact anymore and so they seem to think Gouki and Ibuki are COTA Magneto. They aren’t.

SA3 was at least as good if not better than SA1 for Gouki, Sean does about as good with Hado Burst. Yang is not better than Ryu, Ryu does not need denjin to be good, Ken has never had a reason to use any SA other than 3.

Ken is not the only person who lost several links going into 3rd Strike. He doesn’t have his double dragon combos as far as I can tell, though in the arcade version of NG he had a corner infinte with LDP against anyone in the air.

Akuma was banned anyways. I don’t even know why he is brought up.

I was only posting the old tiers I remembered from back in the day.
I didn’t know how to classify Ibuki and Akuma as Sean is obviously top tier but a significant level below them and they are unquestionably the best 2.
So CHILL, please.

Ok here goes something to think about…

The street Fighter 3 series is just like the world warrior 2 series in the fact that both respective titles continue to recieve relative upgrades to make what was previous more enhanced and more accurate in the next installment.

What I enjoyed most about the Street Fighter 3 series or in this case “New Generation” and “Second Impact” is the fact that Capcom always creates memorable music that years from the time you hear it brings a memorable sensation in the heart. As a real life Kung fu artist there is nothing more intense than good music that gets the mind going. Street fighter has always capable of doing that.

I think that becuase of the way the storyline is structured in street fighter around Ken & Ryu, not much is ever elaborated on. Thrid strike was ment to give the world a new millenia of fighters that set the standard to a new high. In the SNK world the main characters Terry, Kyo, and Iori, are always fighting “God” like characters in street fighter that was never the case. Bison was just a crazy nutt bag who was really stupid you would have a least thought he learned something from geese Howard how to run organized crime.

Street fighter 3 is the moment in which the main characters meet a revelation in their lives thus marks the 3 different versions of the game along with fans crys to bring chun.li in 3rd strike.

I prefer street fighter 3 “New generation and Second Impact” over third strike becuase the game was really solid. the music I loved and the fighting felt more real. I could truely get into it. I can get into third strike too but only on particular stages like Elena’s “Beats in my Head” which I found myself in Gymnastics class trying to make spinning beat come to life while dancing to the music the African way.

Shadowloo is a world wide crime sindicate… Geese is the kingping of South Town.

No, he wasn’t. At least, not in majors (with the exception of That Tournament That Shall Not Be Named).

I think all meaning of the word “solid” has been lost with this post.

The first 2 games were fun but…

Never really got to play 2I alot (like 15mins worth only honestly)…but damn…looking at, and reading all of the 2I goodness makes me want to buy a DreamCast and play this game out. Hearing stuff like 2stocked Denjin (from the looks of it, the bar seems WAY smaller than the 3S one…and 2 fucken stocks too!) Ryu would have been a complete beast.

Watching vids of how ridiculous Sean was in 2I, and seeing what Ibuki could do in 2I with her combo potential, stun potential and SA1 rape at times makes me think that Chunli with c.mk into SAII isn’t so bad after all.

Gouki with his stupidly good dive kick. Haha, SF3:2I sounds like alot of fun though, seriously, I want to play it now…however it’s impossible to find a 2I for the DC…maybe Capcom should think alittle and re-release NG and 2I for the PS2 like they did with 3S…I really want to see 2stocked Denjin Ryu in action, as well as Ibuki, Sean and Gouki.

Pretty sure he wasn’t, never heard of anyone banning him. If they did they should have also banned Ibuki. I wonder if Sean’s meter glitch was banned.
