Ryu’s Stage made no sense in NG… you’re fighting near a balcony where some Cyclops dup is hitting on women, then, you’re near a jaccuzi for round 2… with women, sumo wrestlers, and monkeys cleaning them. Glad they cleaned that up in 2i.

Gouki’s intro just owns regardless in his Mt. Fugi stage.
Ibuki is higher than Gouki. Her SAII was insane for cancelling.
Ryu in 2I has the hot springs stage, pretty much the same as in NG round 2 except the right side is cropped off where the old man’s in a misogi stance.
Round 1 in NG is at a bridge just before the entrance to that same hot springs.
If you didn’t mean Ken’s Stage (identical to Ryu’s for NG but reversed for the rounds I believe) instead, what did they “clean up” for 2I?
…actually, they both have that NG. That’s what I meant. You just didn’t read the “then” part too well.

Co-FUCKIN-sign!!! I mean Ken in 2I was good but Ryu was a tad bit better. But in 3S, they completely nerf Ryu and did a serious upgrade on Ken. 2I Sean was good. But look at Sean now. He is a fucking joke in 3S. And another thing that I didn’t agree with was Dudley. In ever game he pretty much remained formidable, even though in 2I he had that stupid falling from the sky punch and an infinite. But in 3S he still is formidable. I don’t get it.

he didn’t have f+fierce iirc which is the key to why gj does good damage in 3s. (Doesn’t mega scale like his other methods of launching.)

3S scaled the damage that everyone does WAY down (so that fights would last longer). That worked to Yun’s advantage so that now he can actually take some punishment and earn about 2-3 Genei Jin bars per round.

I’m pretty sure that the recovery on a lot of his moves were improved. I don’t remember his Dive Kicks and Lunging Punches being all that safe on block in 2I.

He wasn’t that bad to begin with, it was just that there were a lot of people much better than him, but most of those people got nerfed in 3S: Akuma, Ibuki, Yang, Sean, and Ryu.
