If i was you I would buy both version of the game. Why not try the both of worlds. but i do hope both systems play good online. If you got a modded stick then just get one game. But when comes do it have some people to play the game with.
Honestly I think your fine with either version, which console do you have the most friends on? Thats the console ill pick it up on. Judging from your post you probably have more friends on the xbox so ill go with that.
What about netcode? Does anyone who plays SF4 back and forth on their 360 / ps3 have any comments regarding online play?
SSF4 is fine with yellow bars in PS3, but with my modem being close to the PS3, you can connect an ethernet cable to make it more reliable and faster. Green Bar connection in SSF4 runs perfect, almost as good as online, almost. I am an Ibuki user and my execution doesn’t drop online, neither does with Cammy.
Nitusma (producer of the game) did said he was specially going to focus on speed and reliability for online play, so the game could be played lag-less.

I’ve played SSF4 on both systems online and they both were pretty fine for me. I guess either one will do. But if you’re like me, you’ll be playing in person most of the time anyways.

My best guess is it’s just an inverted Vergil color scheme. Instead of blue coat with white hair, it’s white coat with blue hair 
So, did anyone watch the tourney. Finals with Wong vs. Marn. Yeeaaah, Marn wiped the floor with Dante. Didn’t Marn say he was gonna ditch Dante LOL.

There’s really no significant variance in that , at least in SSF4, you never actually know though until the game is released what kind of technical problems or advantages a given console might have, there’s never really a clear cut winner until people get hands on time with the game and we see some reports/reviews.
Lol this. you always go back to the Dante. Always. Although I’m suprised he didn’t go Wesker aginst the keepaway oving MODOK team, or JWong’s Trish in finals.
I bet he won’t stay with dante longterm, that was just because winning the tournament was way more important to him than longterm character development.

He can drop Dante if he likes, but it’s hard to discount how dangerous he is regardless.
oh he’s certainly dangerous, I agree. I was just talking about whether he’s gonna use the guy seprate from anything else.
I think he will. The luxury of being able to ToD a character with 2 bars (and maybe X-Factor) is probably going to prove too tempting for him, unless he finds a character he likes more that can do that better.
When the game releases, will learn Wesker. Honestly, know gonna get flamed but have a feeling Dante going to end up middle tier. Have just this feeling.
Maybe too spread out or what not, but just this feeling.
I think its the zoners/keepawayers. Trish, Dormammu, MODOK… they all just seem to have so many good options against rushdown characters. Plus advancing gaurd… I dunno. I’m really worried about rushdown in MvC3.
Yeah, and some of the hard to learn characters. X-23, Wesker seem to have good potential and most out of the rushdown characters overall.
Shulkie maybe on up there, all depends on her inputs and priority on attacks.
I am pretty positive Ammy will be up there as well. She seems to be Volnutt 2.0

I think people are forgetting that Dante has a lot of potential too.
