But uses up KFC and two bars. Big issue right there. Every character probably has one, people just play Dante so much. Pool probably has one as well. The KFC instakill combo really not that big.
But thing is, a lot of the straight up rushers will have trouble later approaching. His big hurdle.
By the look at the game now it Looks it’s pretty balanced to me. It kind of remind me of TvC. So I’m guess everybody can win with anybody in this game.
Far as so many Dante in MvC 3. Im pretty sure alot of people are calling on to Dante main BnB combo, but it’s not people are going use it forever. I would agree a little that when the game come out players are going to Evolve with it. So what i’m doing is this come up with different combo’s. I really don’t want anyone carry on to my block string or anything. So i’m going to mix-it up. but thats just me.
Also if you played DM3, you should have some idea of what combos into. I know this a fighting game,things maybe different. So i really think that people who played the DMC series will be some of the best players of Dante. Because they understand how dante works.
Also some of dante colors look weird. They should gave the players a color editting system. That would have worked.
Just got to watching the finals from the stream recording. I don’t see anyone using the down,down+E to teleport behind and above the opponent to close the gap from keep away characters. Do people forget it’s there or is there some downside to it?
Think they just forgot about it. It’s not as fast as like, Wesker’s teleports but it would’ve helped Marn out a lot more against JWong and his zoning/lockdown brigade.
I think I’m just gonna rock default Dante, lol. Can’t mess with what works.
Watching the tourney last night, the commentators indicated that Seth from Capcom was watching the live feed and taking notes as well.
Kind of hinted that some characters maybe toned down a little before the final build is released i.e. Dante and Chun-Li. Again, just “maybe”.
If they do, it’ll probably maybe to slightly decrease the amount of damage from Dante’s Super, as well as be able to push block Chun-Li’s lightning kick assist?
Who won anyways? Marn ditched Wesker for some reason. I’m not worried about his viper tho. If I can block mags and IM then her BKs just need some gettin used to
Good old Dance Macabre. As SSStylish as it looks, I think using the Fireworks followup is more practical, unless you can super cancel DM into Million Dolllar as well…
That’s what I intend to find out the next time I play this game. Hopefully, I’ll be able to get into the San Fransisco tournament. I hear there’s not gonna be many spots open for this tourney. It’s worth noting that the last hit of Jet Stream and Dance Macabre both seem to cause a spin-out. I need to see if his super can cancel Dance Macabre at any time, and if it can, if it can hit them after the last hit, both in the corner and out. It looks like Dance Macabre pulls them out of the air and grounds them, that means that all the hits from it are guaranteed if it hits them.
Hey guys I got some more combos to share. It’s alot theory but I think they work.
2A, 5A, 5B, 5E,(launcher), hammer, dash (crossup) 5A, 5B 5E killer bee, charged shot( low verison), stinger Million Dollars.
Dante evasion(dash) is just fast enough to make crossup. Also when I mean charged shot low that’s wild stomp.I also think that wild stomp is used when the opponent is on the ground, because it’s not listed in the movelist. This means that front charged shot is wild stomp when the opponent is knockout on the ground. The next one is the same combo but more damage.
This should put some serious damage on your opponent.
I had and another thought about dante’s (Launcher) High time can cancel that into charged shot(anti air). Just like in all the DMC series. So this makes up some mix-up game here. Maybe if you had an assist like Superskrull anti air assist (punching) you can also put in some damages. i’m not sure about it, but it’s in theory.
I think you should indent the style change moves so all the original “root” moves are easier to see. also, because this mofo has so many moves, i think added pics would be helpful. other than that, i plan on using this thread when the game comes out. thnx
