You don’t have to go for his ultra difficult stuff, Fly loop is easy, M-H hyper gravity loop is easy, and that about it combo wise. Blast loop is 100K more damage, but people drop it 50% in tournaments (RayRay) so it’s not a must for the basic.
Other then that it is just tri jump for overhead or low, not that hard to learn
Whatever the best Dante team is, it needs Vajra imo. A unique assist that he makes great use of, but Dante makes great use of a lot of assists so it’s hard to pin down just two characters. I think the team that lets him go the most nuts is Dante/Sent/Strider though. Optimizes the hell out of his combos, neutral, mixups, resets, etc. For Dante’s standards the meterless damage is pretty silly.
I think Dante/Vergil/Magneto is a stronger team and Dante is the right guy at the reins, but in terms of character optimization Sent/Strider do so much more for him.
A lot of times when I try to confirm off my airplay DrDoom plasma beam assist smacks me in the face. Althought I sound nooby while asking it, how does one deal with horizontal assists that are covered with Dante?
I’m not feeling to good about letting Mag anchor, he is much weaker character in that spot (relative to Mag/Sentinal and such).
I could think of Wesker too, for the unblockable which is always nice (heard there is a hard tag proof version).

Well it is because in my main team i use Dante/Vergil/horizontal Assist(currently Hawkeye) , both of the sparda brothers love projectile or beam assists, it helps in their neutral game so much, i could change Vergil to anchor so the beam projectile assist won’t be that necesary, but i am not sure of who shouls i pick, so until then i will keep hawkeye or magnus, i want to play Dormammu with Dante, but i am not very sure about the last assist, i want to play a keepaway with dormammu so i will be able to abuse darks spells, i love Hidden Missiles assist but i am not very sure about doom as an anchor, thoughs?
He is solid anchor, a little bit to relaying on opponent mistakes to score hits, but he can get the kill without XF which is quite a bonus. The problem is that it might be easier to zone him out.
