In other news, I am somewhat disappointed that the Switch has FEWER tools for importing Miis than any previous system. Having to manually step-by-step copy several good Miis was kind of annoying.
That said, at least I am good to go. With around 40 of them, plus whatever Mii guest outfits warrant additional Miis, I’m ready.
I only had one Mii that I needed to transfer (my own), which was simple enough with my Mewtwo Amiibo.
But I could see how transferring multiple Miis would get troublesome, even if you have lots of Amiibo.
Also, I’m pretty sure the last time someone mentioned the clown was long before E3, so I don’t know what force summoned him up most recently. I also don’t care that much.

I’m putting it on record right now that I’ve been waiting for Ridley since… pretty much forever. I will be playing him regardless of his tier status.

You know, if we’re gonna have so many stages, they’re probably not gonna have a lot of tracks per stage. No reason to have Tortimer Island theme on TnC when Tortimer’s Island is still a stage.
I wanna know how different stage picking will be. There already seems to be 20+ neutral stages (a good problem)

-There will be weeding. Like with Delfino and Halberd, previously good stages with become abuseable as the game evolves.
or
-Counterpick stages will become the meta. There will be 5 starters and 20+ CPs.

Maybe they’ll have music tracks grouped by franchise rather than specific stage? Like, all Mario music will be available on all Mario stages, all AC music on all AC stages, etc.
Granted, that could get out of control REALLY fast, and it doesn’t address the random songs that were assigned to certain stages, but it’s at least a possibility.
OR! Maybe you’ll be able to pick and choose which specific tracks play on each stage? That could be interesting.
I am 100% OK with this.
Remember, you select the stage first now. That alone greatly impacts the nature of counter-picking
