At least see if their community would like to donate towards this cause. It’s worth a shot.
I know, right? Somebody call BRAZZERS.
[EMP] | [Megabus] | [Brazzers] | [Gamegrumps] BrandX
Beggars cant be choosers. Accept w/e support you can get.
Every single time I see that image of the Skullgirls playing at EVO, this is my exact reaction…

Not to undermine their chances or anything, I really want them to win.
Can you explain this lol. I dont understand.
It’s an APEX2013 joke lol.
One of the top level players had 2 sponsors in his name, one of them being EMP. And Megabus was a huge sponsor for the tourney as well i think, so a lot of people kept talking about megabus in joking fashions (ie adding them to their name as a sponsor and so on and so forth.)
Here we were talking about getting people like brazzers (jokingly) and gamegrumps (not so jokingly) to help us out so that SG could catch up to melee (basically sponsoring)
and considering you’re the main character of this thread, i added those tags to your name, because you’re trying to get money for SG.

I hate to say it, but Kinuko’s art seems to be creating a fairly counterproductive reaction.
James Chen is a no go, he would love to support us, but he wants to remain unbiased during this donation event.
It’s not Kinuko’s art. There’s just something very wrong with this dude.
Is this a prominent Twitter person? Also DANG
Yeah after reading those tweets, its highly likely this individual just hates how the game looks in general.Apparently he has issues with fan service as well which funny enough every other fighting game pretty much has. Especially shows that in his last tweet which is all subjective. No big loss, that tweeter was not the embodiment of the general reactions of that art
I just think the fact that Melee is beating the hell out of all the other competitors goes to show what a horrible, horrible idea this competition was. Do the current standings reflect the actual level of interest in the games? Fuck no, because somebody threw it TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS out of balance. It’s infuriating how a single batch of donations can change the running so completely, just because one single supporter (or group of supporters) has a goddamn shitload of money to throw at it. Where’s the rich patrons when WE need them?
…And it occurs to me that the last few days of this drive are going to be fucking chaos, because that’s when everybody’s going to bring the heavy guns out. I don’t actually dare to predict the final result; for all I know, some troll could pitch sixty grand at Divekick or GG just for the sheer lulz of stealing the top spot from whichever game has it. I never had any good feelings about this drive; it’s too easy for some single random donator with a ludicrous amount of spare cash on hand to take over and completely control the outcome.
I still think leaving it to a donation towards medical research is a great idea. Big bucks follow when a group is very vocal and has a lot of supporters, and Melee’s fundraiser shows that an organized effort can make a big impact in a short amount of time. There’s still almost two weeks left. It’s possible to catch up, just very difficult. Who knows how many people on various sides are waiting to make snipe donations in the last few days.
Well the decision for them to decide not to do hidden standings for the whole contest really added many unpredictable factors. Certain factions may feel nervous and jump the gun to create a false sense of security with that big gap as a safety net.
Other factions may become passive and wait for the right moment to strike. In any case, the money yielded goes to breast cancer research so i don’t feel this is morally wrong because the decision to not hide the standings encourages communities to duke it out and yield more $ as an end result.
Last Game thats on top of the hill when the last second expires takes it all in the end. No more. No less
It’s a shit ton of money thrown at a charity. Majors should do this all the time, guaranteed to get huge donations for charities out of it. Also, lol @ ppl thinking SG can close the gap. Melee has it, gg. Focus them funds towards side tourney prep.
I have an uneasy feeling that that surge, when for a few precious minutes we got past both Melee and MLP, pretty much was all the snipe donations SG is going to get. If all the games continue collecting donations at the same average rate, SG is still going to be ten thousand dollars behind Melee two weeks from now.
I think we need to come to grips with the idea that Skullgirls is pretty much fucked.
Unless it’s MLP, which only takes the prize money for its tournament
You’re gonna feel silly when Number 13 reveals his plan: he was Bruce [S]Willis[/S] Wayne the whole time
To be fair i only dropped a mere $20, but that was back when the results were hidden. Timing is everything now that anyone can see the current standings
Edit: Yeah honestly, i feel like people are ignoring the most important factor to yield these donation votes. They are focusing on the wrong angle
