How are you guys in any place to complain about Egoraptor promoting the cause? What do his personal tastes in games or his attitude have to with anything? How is his audience relevant to anything and why do you see fit to condemn them with condescending labels?

Agreed. Regardless of the content he or anyone associated with him makes. More exposure is a good thing. I’d be glad even if folks like Tobuscus or whatever that Happy Wheels guy’s name is who’s really popular for just yelling a lot did supported Skullgirls. (Note they might be the same person now that I think about it) No support is bad support. Well except if it was from the KKK or Neo Nazis I suppose, but good on them for donating money anyway? I don’t know… Kind of a grey area there.

Yeah, either way more exposure/donations is universally better. Besides everything different gets some weird stigma attached to it regardless of how and who it’s being supported by.
I guess I’m wrong in that aspect then, at least. He is, even if the possibility of bashing the game even existed, supporting the cause, and that’s great. I know that game grumps has a backlog of videos, though. I still have a weird feeling in the back of my head, hopefully I’m wrong.
Does anybody have an ‘in’ with these youtubers? Tobuscus would be an excellent endorser (esp. since it’s grass roots and for charity). We just need to reach him first.
One of the things I’m doing is working an angle on that front on great endorsers but not just limited to Youtube
