Getting in 2nd is great and all, but when you’re less than $400 away from getting a $1000 pot bonus that would make paying for a plane ticker, a hotel room, entry fees and food for a weekend actually worth it, and you make plans with your limited income to try to actually go through all that expense in hopes to make it all back, you KINDA want the $400 to be donated.

I love Skullgirls, but I like Melee a lot too, so I would enter either haha I would just much rather have Skullgirls be it since Melee has been an established game for so long, while Skullgirls winning would be a dope underdog story.
People who actually go to tournaments and have seen melee love it. Its only the scrubs on SRK that seem to have some agenda against. Believe me there will be 0 groans or backlash if melee makes it. SG was a good idea but man it was just such dry execution. I actually bought it and couldn’t play it for more than a few days since I come from a lot of anime/doujin fighters. It didn’t wow me and I think thats the same problem it had with many others. It was completely devoid of flare and was also a chore to spectate. I hope with this patch Mike Z reduced the blazblue length combos. I can appreciate high level play from everything and even I could not watch SG finals LIVE. It really needs to be revamped to reach a larger audience imo.
