Jumps are option selects and air throws on a character that spends the majority of her time in the air are too yomi.

I dont mean to be that guy and correct you, but pw is not free to silent scope:

She can air super through which you probably already know, but she has another much better answer in jhp armoring through it, taking the hit and then going into full combo on parasoul. Of course parasoul can stop this via dhcing out but pw isnt free anymore to silent scope, it was this way on the patch as well, practice it in training mode, the timing isnt hard at all.

I actually wonder if Buer Thresher can actuallly beat Fafnir Drive now… Because I sure gimmicked you a lot with Death Crawl xx Fafnir Drive when you tried to fly away from stuff lol.

Let me just state that I’ve come to the magical realization since I started playing this game that refusing to hit buttons because you want the other person to think you’re cool is not exactly a good way to improve.

I think I realized the second I noticed an air throw into level 3 did like 60%. Hate me all you want is all I’ve got to say. I’m not an asshole, but when I’m playing to win there’s no reason to not use absolutely everything you have to. Why not use something that’s good? If using things that are good was so bad, why was Double patched?

And I have zero relation to a guitar :stuck_out_tongue:

From the looks of it most of these 100% or heavy hitting combos require a lot of meter and some set up, which I think is what Mike was aiming for.

if someone is jumping out of your resets then just use a standing attack rather than a crouching one. even if they block it they are gonna fall back down to the ground again.

if i feel FORCED to airthrow… then thats what i will do, if i feel that the airthrow is less guess based as part of an overall mixup plan then i will airthrow, im not willing to airthrow as a guess based response to chicken block if i know of a better option with less risk of not working. i airthrow all the time, i just dont do it in my pokestrings cause im looking for SOMETHING EVEN MORE CHEAP… i dont know what there is that isnt understandable there.

up until i played tomo i thought i had something more cheap than "contact stun>mixup between low,throw and airthrow… and i basically did… now i know that my opponents werent doing something, so i know that what i thought was the cheapest shit i could do in that situation isnt so cheap.

so i have to go to plan 2.

If you armor through it and they dhc you can just fly to safety. No other super besides Argus is going to catch pw out of the air

Id have to see it, i dont see people hitting it often. I never really used silent scope on pw in the first place though bnbs do more dmg, just saying it was a option.

airthrow in the situation you are talking about is 25/25/25/25 but calculates against most opponents as being 33/33/33
the situation i am now going to be trying to engineer is 33/33/33 against most opponents but calcs to be 50/50

i dont know how your maths work but mine say your airthrow numbers are bad.

How is doing an air reset with a throw random?

wouldnt using a standing light (or even a cr. LP since those hit mid) be useful for catching somebody who is trying to jump away? either way if it hits or is blocked they will fall to the ground and then maybe you can mix them up again with a low/throw.

i dunno, dont quote me on this one its just a wild idea really. not sure if things would go that way or not due to opp recovering from blockstun as soon as they hit the ground whether you would have frame adv. or not.
