Wolverine’s meterless combo is about 490,000 with an assist, not 650,000 like sents… It’s ridiculous how strong they made him at release that it was only a matter of time until he got/gets balanced out.
Is anyone one thinking of using Sentinel for his rocket punch assist due his health nerf? I use Wesker-Mag-Sent. With his health nerf + the start up of drones assist leaving him out there for that long seems like a bad idea. I’m thinking about using Mag to setup Wesker and Sent to extend combos. Also is anyone thinking of moving him from anchor or is it just me?

Anybody that says Sentinel was OP doesn’t know how to sit down and learn the fucking game. They don’t know that he is slow and any keepaway character rapes him with no vaseline. Inversely, anybody that says Sentinel sucks because of that nerf doesn’t really know how to play Sentinel. They need to take their asses to training mode real quick. Either way, the bitching and the salt needs to stop.
Sentinel is still an amazing character with the nerf, yet he was never OP.

Make an argument. Why do you think Sentinel was so overpowered he needed to have his health dropped by a third? How does the health drop help? You aren’t being very clear.

yeah after the patch I am still seeing people picking sentinel but they are retards because she hulk can punish anything he does. flight mode, crouching B -if they launch after it it will whiff and she can still do crouching C and combo if they dont follow up --really have to test that one-- and BLOCK F ING LOW. yeah after the nerve i might use sentinel now
I play Sent since drones assist goes well with a keepaway/lockdown Ammy using beads/glaive.
They nerfed him because scrubs say he’s “op”. I’m gonna have fun still shittin on kids with Sent.
Even with the nerf he’s still to 5, you just cant spam assists and armored moves with him anymore.

Are we still taking bout the nerf guys? C’mon, its time to move on, its not like they ruined him or something he is still a beast and he is still the best scrub killer in the entire cast. Im glad they nerfed him, not cause I thought he was broken or anything but because there were sooooooooo many terrible sentinel players out there that will start getting exposed now since the lost a third of his life. Plus people just stuck him in their teams and didn’t actually design their teams with him in mind, another habit I hope changes after this nerf.
Anyway on a different note, Im definitely planning on making a sentinel team now, probably him x-23 and a third, maybe c.viper. That’ll be a team loaded from top to bottom with ridiculous unblockables, but the execution barrier of viper and x will prolly mean its gonna be a while before I can debut this team.
I used Sentinel back in MvC2, he works well with Dante and Wesker, and I’m a huge fan of mecha anime.
Yes, I’m a scrub because I can still win with a character who you think is weak just because of a 390,000 health decrease… Maybe you should learn to block and play your character instead of spamming his assist and armored moves like the typical sentinel player.
Lolwhat? Sent was never top 5 in MvC3, you just think so because scrubs cry about him. Maybe you should stop playing online and play good people. Also please explain how Sentinel loses to a shit ton of characters, but is still top 5? Usually when a character is High Tier they beat most of the cast. Your logic amazes me.
Who are you having a hard time against? maybe I can give you some pointers to level up your game… Anyways, Sent has so many tools, that i’d rather not list, if your as good as you claim you know what they are. Pair that up with his armored moves, some of the best and safest hypers, one touch kill combos, and one of the best assists in the game, you got yourself a really strong character even with his average health.
Sent was top 10 before. Top 5? No. Dante, Wesker, Phoenix, Amaterasu, Trish, Magneto, Storm and a couple of others are a little better. that was before the nerf.
Pay him no mind Yung. Only an nimrod would offer an additional nerf to a character who should have never been nerfed in the first place.
Dudes want a 9 ft foot tall killer robot doing the same amount of damage as a 5ft Canadian with claws.
What’s even more funny is that Logan has more vitality then Sentinel now.
