You’re the same guy that’s going to complain and call for nerf when She Hulk hits you one time and u never get to press a button again or when Ama zones you out for 80 seconds. I personally really hate that Sentinel is worse cuz that means we get to see more She Hulk and I can’t stand watching her fight at all let alone fight against her. At the same time I’m not going to sit and complain when people use her cuz she’s good.
Fighting games are about picking the good shit when it comes to tournaments and you cant blame randoms online for using shit that’s good. It’s either they do it or they get beat by it. Only higher level players are going to have the knowledge and know how to get around what’s easy and good so they might as well do it. If you think Sent getting toned is going to add diversity alone…let me know how that goes when you see She Hulk and Tron all over the place like real soon.
I would say at a high level he is not easy to use or win with compared to other top tiers which is all we should care about. Isn’t this forum dedicated to high level play and higher levels of thinking? Or at least I thought it was.
I care about what I see and what I play against. Also he is used a lot in high level play as well. His overusage is across the board and there is a reason for that.
So, Because he’s a good member of any team he’s op?

You’re seriously overexagerating everything I said. My original point is that I think Sentinel was OP. I wasn’t “raging” and I never said anything about it until the nerf. At which point, I agreed that something needed to be done. I said he was the most used character. Which he was. I said that I am tired of fighting him and watching people play with him. Which I am.
These are all my opinions and then you try to discount them by trying to point out my join date to this forum as if that’s some kind of indication of my experience which is ignorant as fuck. Do me a favor and just keep my name out of your mouth.
And for the record, I also think Akuma is a really good character. But its not like I’m “raging” about it. Just like I wasn’t “raging” about Sentinel. People like you can’t just take someone’s opinion for what it is; an opinion. And you can’t handle someone having a differing opinion from yours. Especially if it has to do with your character. You get all up in arms and claim that they obviously don’t know what they are talking about and are “raging” or “crying” about it. Grow the fuck up and learn how to engage in conversations with people with differing opinions. Your join date or internet forum cred doesn’t mean shit to me if you’re not saying anything of any substance.
With all that said, I played a lot last night. I think they may have gone too far with the nerf. I think something needed to be done, but he took a huge hit. I wasn’t playing the best players, but the difference was very noticeable. It is going to expose a lot of the lesser skilled Sentinel players and make them step up their game or drop the character altogether (or just continue to suck and cry about the nerf), which is a good thing in my eyes. So for all you real Sentinel players, who feel like you are actually skilled with the character, don’t blame Capcom, or complainers for your robot nerf, blame his ease of use to damage output ratio and the subpar players who have been taking advantage of that to get undeserved wins. They fucked it up for you. Not guys like me. My opinions of him never left any further than my friend’s ear. There was no forum raging and no letters to Capcom.

You can do that with other characters as well though, just because Sentinel’s combos are easier from an execution standpoint doesn’t mean his damage needs to be toned down.

I thought he was OP, but had never said a word about it in any public forum. I just learned how to fight against him better. That doesn’t change the fact that I thought he was OP.
