Why take online seriously? The netcode for this game is ass and people want to cry against whenever they lose instead of owning up to the loss.

I need help/advice with sent air combos,I can’t do double jump or refly w/o dropping the combo!

Neat little reset i’ve been doing online, but it can be rolled out of.

j.h j.s j.h j.s(call in an assist to cover a roll) wavedash fwd h.command grab BnB in corner.

The j.h j.s j.h j.s does about 300, plus you get the damage from the bnb.

I was gonna make a vid of this and a couple other resets I just cant be asked for the sent hate on my videos =/

Sentinel Assist Pairings

Please post the best assist pairings you’ve discovered for Sentinel and a short explanation as to why you believe it’s a solid pairing. I’ll move legit ones with good explanations to the top. I’ll start with a couple:

Deadpool (Quick Work): Sets up either unblockable or very ambiguous high|low situations when combined with Sentinel’s jump-in h and allows for an easy follow up m into launcher for big damage combos.

Dormammu (Purification): Great when activated right after a landed HSF in the corner. Activate as soon as the hyper is over and relaunch. The assist will hold them in the air, giving you time to air combo and knock your opponent back to the ground for more Rocket Punch/HSF shenanigans.

Doctor Doom (Plasma Beam): More of a generalization, beams in general make for great assists. They allow Sentinel to actually attempt zoning other characters who can beat out his spit. It allows Sentinel to approach his foes with little risk - especially when you throw out drones before calling in your beam assist. Beams also allow you to greatly limit your opponent’s recovery. They even can function as a combo extender.

Doctor Doom (Hidden Missile): Perhaps one of the best assists in the game, and it works well with Sentinel too. Hidden Missile will force your opponents to block. Doom does not appear in front of Sentinel so the likely hood of him getting knocked out of it is fairly small. When used with Sentinel’s drones and spit, you can easily lock your foe down from full screen. Defensively, this bad boy isn’t too shabby either. So long as the missiles comes out, your opponent cannot disregard them - if they succeed in landing a combo and the missiles are in play, you can bet that (most of the time) the missiles will stop the combo from happening.

Mike Ross through out this entire video talks down to gootecks and tells him that he only lost because he didn’t have sentinel and when he wins it’s because of sentinel…

dunno has this been mentioned, but hsf xfc hsf is pretty much a dead assist character 90% of the time.

Iron man beam assist lets you rush down after your first H beam. The sequence is is H, H + down + IM assist. If the first H beam connects then the three sequence event is successive for 16 - 17 hits. Otherwise your opponent better be ready for a WD or fly cancel rushdown because that bad boy will still be fucking OUT. GUYVER SHIT.

I like being an asshole with tron assist.
fly call assist, jump call assist. whiff launcher call assist. whiff 2b call assist. It makes him even more of a tank even in the air, and it gives me brain damage at how dumb i can be sometimes.

He does work. (Seriously, what other reason is there? He’s not some creativity-inspiring cast member … he makes bitches go SPLAT.)

yea i was going to sub him for the drone assist but damn I literally can not play as sentinel without killing myself

the reason i ask this question is really do yall feel any how do u say it…CHEAP playing with him?

like i was playing against a dude who tried using all types of team and would still put sentinel in there and im like u dont need to have sentinel to have a good team and win.

^ I dont feel cheap at all with Sent. Reason being that, even though I can nearly kill you if you slip up once, its still fairly ez for a fast char to run under sent on Super jump on Sent and combo him out.

I never fear facing sent, if he goes lvl3 x factor I run til the nitemare is over, I expect the same from my opponents. When I face sent I just pick one of my fast guys and do as I said, super jump on him, or dash under him if he jumps. Also dashing in and out to bait him works well to punish wiffs. The Iron Giants hit box is enourmous, I would be suprised if there were any char in the cast the dont have a Jumpin cross up against Sent

worst case scenerio for me is to face Sent mirror match. But I just try to trick him with double jump and odd flight patterns, And just cross my fingers that I’ll land the magic :s:
