If you play with Dormammu you shouldn’t have much of a problem. Dark holes and forward heavy should take care of it. If you have meter you can hit a dark hole and then a chaotic flame.

The DNyc combo w Dante Sent deals over a million damage for 2 meters. It’s like etc…, S, j.H, Fly, j.L, j.H, Unfly, j.M, dj, j.M, j.S, OTG Rocket Punch, HSF, S+Dante Jam Session, jump, fly, j.S, OTG Rocket Punch, Plasma Storm. The relaunch jam session part is corner only though.

Yes, it’s possible to combo HSF ~ Plasma Storm Mid screen. I’ve got some experimental ideas with TK HardDrive as well in this combo.

I’ve been playing Sent on point latetly and has a simple question about that: What do you guys find to be good opening strategy pre-“FIGHT!!” ? Jump back before they say fight? Assist immediately? (for reference I have Storm whirlwind and Akuma Tatsu) Immediate cM? I’m really not sure, but want to make sure I don’t leave myself open to getting rushed right out of the gate. thanks!

I start every fight with a double jump into flight mode while calling my assist (Hidden Missiles).

Be careful starting every fight with an unprotected assist, if people see that they can punish you hard.

Didn’t think of TK RP. Have to mess around with that. Was trying to fit a RP into the flight part of the combo but doesn’t recover fast enough as far as I can tell.

TK HardDrive would be nice because it is guaranteed to push them in the corner from midscreen. Wonder how much damage it will do.

I didn’t add anything to it, here’s just the frame of it. I’ll leave it up to you guys to do whatever in the corner. Hard Drive puts the opponent in spinning Knockdown.

what is actually happening during sentinel’s hard drive hyper?
in MVC2 he just charged forward in the air

but here he’s got some drone’s around him and a pink barrier in front of him

Seems completely random, no Sentinel has ever done that in comics.

I found a really good unblockable for sent that i have been cracking people open with left and right.

instant j.H + Felicia rolling buckler assist then chain to j.S then s.M launch to bnb whatever

it is basically a double overhead mixed in with a sort of double low.

Felicia’s rolling buckler hits twice and the range is more than half screen for a low assist. lets say for instance you whiff your j.H but the rolling buckler hits the opponent, they get popped up at the right height where you can do s.M to catch them in mid air then launch to bnb whatever.

in the corner this tactic is just ferocious.
also, Felicia’s rolling buckler has saved me from many random hypers by interrupting them.

Been working on resets in the corner with Sent. Will post em up.

Also, Phoenix is Sent’s hardest matchup. By far.

I would love if Marvel put Capcom’s sentinel in a comic book.

One sentinel would body the entire X-Men and Avengers by stomping on them, hard driving through their powers, using unblockable lasers, and calling commando.

Re: Phoenix. If you don’t have Dormammu Purification or Dante Jam session to help bring her down when she’s Jean, this is a 0-10 fight.

I don’t care if she’s Jean or Dark Phoenix, the only prayer you have is a random hard drive or HSF through something of hers.

Yup. Even with Haggar Lariat, I have to guess when the teleport is gonna come. And even then she doesn’t need to teleport. Instant Overhead + godly run away tactics are amazing with her.

Completely agree with this. Sentinel is now cable(easy moves that lead to BIG damage) You have to develop strats to get around this and not just say wtf sentinel is so cheap. The game has been around for 2 weeks, it’s your lack of knowledge or skilll or a combo of both that prevent you from beating shitty sentinels. Your team is basically all top tier characters… I bet you rush in against sent and try to do something and then eat a hyper armor launcher or you probably still block like its mvc2 and try to block everything low. In this game every basic air attack is an overhead and there is no proximity blocking.
