This reminds me, I was doing j.L, j.M, j.H, j.S on Sent with Wolverine. It does combo and I managed to get 3-4 loops at the very most - then Sent just started blocking. I think its safe to say those stadning infinites that were in mvc2 are gone at the very least.
Heres a list of nerfs and changes. You don’t have to believe but makes no difference since the game is out soon and people are playing it already. Anyways:

When the HSF hits, they actually carry the opponent further away. Combined with the reduction of range of rocket punch and the start up of the beams- are the reasons why HSF loop no longer works like it used to.
However, HSF loop does work in the corner with out beams and just doing rocket punch. A lil bit more difficult to the link the rp, but it can be done. Midscreen I only managed to combo HSF twice at the most.
Thats enough about the HSF cause thats all I know about it. Heres other things:

[]Normals obviouslly do not chip, but beams still do.
[]Flight is a lot shorter. Also if you fly, unfly and then flly again there will be a lil delay where Sent kinda does a lil hop in the air and you can’t do anything. Cannot definitely confirm if you can call assists whilst flying but I am sure you can.
[]As far as I can tell you can’t cancel his normals (like his sweep for eg.), though I accept that maybe I just couldn’t do it. However you can definitely cancel Sent’s beams with flight.
[]Probaby already common knowledge but he has a command grab called “Human catapault” dp motion + any attack. Hard version allows you to juggle in the corner otherwise it blasts you all the way to the other side of the screen. Only hard version allows you to combo in corner iirc.
[]Once drones are out they stay out regardless of is Sent if hit. Light sends drones low (not that you have to block low they are just lower than they were in mvc2), M sends them midscreen going upwards (don’t think you can direct them this time around) and Hard is the drone bombs I think.
[]Assist are low rocket punch, standard drones and drone bombs. Drone bombs are pretty good, they are slow moving and think track opponent and drops bombs above them wherever they are at. However I am certain that they can be blocked crouching so, no unblockble set ups here.
[*]Launch and sweep has super armour, I don’t know if anything else does but I highly doubt it.

This is all I know about Sent no point asking me anything else.
Didn’t have much time with him and when I did play him people were spamming me with all kinds of shit so blleurgh.
So Sent can refly, but there is a delay when you do it? Interesting. In earlier builds I recall you couldn’t refly. Guess they must have changed that…

I must say. Though I am still sad he didn’t get any of his CotA normals (besides that grab), I do appreciate how his animations are closer to CotA then MvC2. MvC2 Sentinel when it comes to doing his moves just looks kinda cheap looking (no pun intended

I honestly think lupinko/Superking saying that “his COTA animations were back” (paraphrase) is a BS statement. It’s not that his COTA animations are back, it’s that he has animation. Which is obvious, because there’s no way that Capcom is gonna put a character in a fluid 3D game and have all his moves still be two frames of animation, regardless of if that’s what people know of Sentinel. That’s like pointing out that Arthur has animations now.
So it sucks that he doesn’t have his drills and saws and missiles and shit, but I honestly didn’t expect it, since MvC2 Sentinel is THE Sentinel for all manners and purposes (just like MvC2 Maggy, who doesn’t have his random metal shit and EM Pulse). But at least Capcom gave him that old COTA throw though.

I thought it was obvious I was talking about the improvement in animation quality for Sent (resembling how CotA Sent is very pretty looking in motion while MvC2 Sent is as you said like 2 animations of that). But eh.
I know what you were talking about. I just went off on a tangent/rant about how MvC3 Sent animations are basically irrelevant to COTA.
