Yep, that sounds like early days MvC2 Sentinel. He did way too much damage (and took too little) and was really good, just not brokenly good.
But I’m thinking that, just like in MvC2, there’s gonna be some hard tricks and (maybe) game engine quirks that are gonna get figured out eventually.

I see where youre going with this but the short answer is youre wrong.
Only a few things needed to be verified by seeing Sentinel footage, all of which were confirmed by a scrub playing the AI.
-Sentinel still does damage
-Sentinel isnt slow
-Sentinel can still zone his ass off
I mean, if it wasnt obvious the first two times he played the game he got his ass KICKED and the third time through he wrecked house on Galactus.
The drone bomb assist really needs to be explored some more, considering it has been MASSIVELY buffed from MvC2.
I’ve watched alot of Sentinel footage over and over and he has the biggest HURT BOX in the game. His HP may make up for it but a couple of things to look out for is:
-The game may have infinites
-The game may have DHCs that can do massive damage
-Unblockables into reset unblockables
Just alot of different ways to hit a character of Sentinel’s size. Solid character but there is no way in hell Sentinel can avoid taking damage.
