Not too happy he’s in this game. Storm and Magneto are okay, but Sent seems more or less lucky that he was popular in MvC2 because of how good he was. I think if he was terrible, he wouldn’t have been a low tier favorite. I think Hulk fills the enormous characters slot just fine (even though I prefer Juggernaut.)

How Sentinel was so much as a surprise is beyond me. Besides that MSS was an iconic MvC2 team. Or why the return of a previously top tier character is upsetting to begin with.
I’m actually quite shocked they left HSF as powerful as it was in MvC2(or at least it seems to be. Only time will tell if you can combo it into itself but i don’t see why not)
Hell i guess it’s actually better because you can air combo into an OTG rocket punch into HSF.

They were just three god tier from the last game in order to please old MvC2 fans for keeping the game alive for 10 years. It has nothing to do with the fact that they were a team, or else we would be seeing Psylocke, or captain commando.
