…Dropping names wasn’t necessary in order to prove that the ruleset I posted, which the Smash community is currently using, is far better than the ignorant and unbalanced rules proposed by the directors of this Brawl tournament and the wonderful PozerWolf.

If that’s the case then the answer is simple:
Take the option of him camping away, don’t let him get ahead of you in percentage/stocks. If I were facing a jigglypuff on mute city I’d tell myself that the match is going to most likely be decided very quickly from the beginning and come to terms with it(not ban the stage). Then I’d plan ahead accordingly by practicing being super defensive against jigglypuff until I have a comfortable lead in that situation(not ban the stage). That’s just me tho…
The stage is not banned. It’s a counterpick that Eggm neglected to ban. You can ban a single stage in a set in order to avoid such nonsense.
It’s a lot harder than you think to get a lead over a defensive Jigglypuff at Mute City. Eggm camped lasers and b-airs with his Fox and still lost. Jigglypuff can duck under most grabs, n-air your shield into a crouch and not get it, camp under the stage with u-airs and rising pound, etc.
However, that’s not as bad as items regardless. At least there’s a strategy there and it’s not 100% luck-based and nothing else. It’s also not random.

You can try not living in the past. What you did in melee doesn’t account for shit in a new game. But seeing as how you smashers haven’t had to switch games until now, you wouldn’t know how adapting to a new game, new mechanics, and a new situation would work.
At the same time, you want to self-dictate for the whole “community” what YOU think works based on a game that you have imported and have only played for three weeks.
