The skills you get at Max level will carry over. You’ll need to start the confidant again.
You should never be having to try and squeeze Star in before the final palace. When you get to do her Confidant, you work on that Confidant to make damn sure you finish it early, because both her and her Skills are so good.
Yea, maxing Hifumi should be a requirement for the endgame.
With the exception of iTunes, is there anywhere I can buy this soundtrack digitally so I can just download it straight to my phone? I could always buy the physical one, rip it, then transfer the files to my phone, but I don’t want to unless I have to. Wanna listen to some of this shit at work.

You should backtrack to the entrance each time you defeat a boss. That’s what I did to not lose progress.
Much to my surprise, you can fast travel in the spots where you fought the archangels.

I thought p4 was more memorable, but this one was good too. P5 had more of that classic SMT feel than 4 did, imo.
On my second play through and enjoying much more than first since I don’t feel the need to read every bit of dialog.
Focusing on finishing all Confidants and registering all Persona. For books, I’m thinking I’ll finish a late game Palace in one day and make a special save so that I can just read them all with the free time. I’ve already knocked out a few.

was anyone else surprised at how Akechi didn’t make another appearance? With how vague his death was, I was certain he wasn’t actually dead and he was going to show up again at the end of the game. I didn’t expect him to go out on such a whimper.

I wasn’t. Akechi ultimately didn’t affect anything. He was being as a tool by everyone and he disappeared from everyone minds after his death. He didn’t matter

Well, if you want to be technical, Akechi CAN show up after he supposedly dies in the bad ending if you beat him on the ship and don’t manage to send the calling card out in time.
