I’m pretty close to the end of the game myself.
But for anybody still on first playthrough, a tip: Get a Girimekhala, and keep it.
Reflects physical+gun damage
Strong against fire
Nullfies curse
Only weak against bless
Probably the most broken persona I’ve encountered so far. It’s one of my weakest in damage output, but otherwise turns Joker into a Fortress
I’ll admit to kind of cheating by getting some DLC Personas, since throughout I was using like Kaguya Picaro, Ariadne Picaro, and towards the end, used a bunch of Tsukyomi Picaro, and Asterius Picaro.
I bought a new 32" TV for my office/man cave. I was previously gaming on an old flatscreen monitor. The voice don’t even sound the same lol. The picture is obviously a ridiculous upgrade. I knew Persona was a beautiful game but, they really put love into these visuals.
Despite what I said earlier, I think I’m gonna be splitting my gaming time between a P5 NG+ and Nier Automata.
I don’t even know what games sound like through my TV. I’m always using a headset
Yeah, I used him right up until the last fight, pretty much only switching him out on some of the last minibosses. I was also lucky when leveling him up, because I inherited some fairly useful skills for him (notably Swift Strike).
I also think it’s pretty silly that Girimekhala learns Counter when he reflects physical in the first place, lol.
Even before getting Girimekhala, you could use Shiki Ouji whom you get much earlier in the game. Doesn’t reflect, but blocks physical, gun, and curse.
Yeah, Shiki-Ouji is also great. He and Girimekhala were my two main personas for most of the game. Joker being immune to physical is incredibly useful.
Yeah Arahabaki was mine, only weak to psy which is pretty rare.
My wife would probably appreciate if I did that - she had the P5 battle theme stuck in her head for a while lol. She doesn’t mind video games at all (she loves Diablo 3 and finished Ratchet and Clank a little while ago), but she can’t stand that song now.
I felt that way too but then I thought about it and I think it’s so you can pass it on to a fused persona. I wouldn’t dare fuse Girimekhala anyway lol

i’m almost at end game and i alternate between sandalphon and black frost. I still want Alice. I’ve also spent alot of time reloading save files in the velvet room trying out network fusion lol.
At this point, my girl can sing the Velvet Room theme. High notes and all

Alice is a great persona. High chance instant kill move that is the best screen clearer if you ever get ambushed.
I discovered a beautiful thing today.
Go into mementos and fight an area boss that is available after the fourth palace.
Inflict confusion.
Guard.
Guard.
Inflict confusion. Rinse, repeat.
MAKE A FUCK TON OF MONEY.
The later mementos bosses will throw away between 50,000 and 75,000 yen every time they throw out money.
It was also really funny because I was doing this to Shadow Wakasa lol(the one who scams old people for money)
I went through the entire game without ever fusing a Black Frost. Didn’t even know he was in the game. How did I manage that?
I’ve got no idea. Later game I always had to have King Frost then Black Frost in my Persona line up. Besides, the Frosts are oddly adorable anyway, lol.

I’m not trying to make Alice super buff, since she kinda already is. Also most of my party members are around level 91, so I think i’ll be good with whatever I have.
Correct. If you have Alice, there’s only one strategy you need to know
So what confidant skills transfer in NG+? Not counting ones that level up based on story progress, I’ve maxed Death, Moon, and Priestess. Trying to squeeze Emperor and Star in before the end of the final palace.
