Videogames ARE inherently a waste of time. But so can be argued about all Entertainment (even reading a book).
I see it as a useful waste of time, as long as you don’t have an addiction, Video games are not harmful.
So, some end-game questions here and I guess don’t spoil stuff for me:
Will I get access to the last part of mementos when I beat shido’s palace or is that something I’ll have to do before I beat the palace? It’s become pretty obvious to me that the last part of mementos is definitely a palace. Also, will I get free reign to do stuff post-game or will it just take me to the ending and then offer new game +?
[details=Spoiler]Yes. The last part of mementos becomes story relevant. You will not get free reign. Going to mementos depths is the part of no return. You can go to specific shops to restock supplies but you won’t have the freedom to roam anymore. Post game stuff is on new game+[/spoiler[
Gotcha, thanks man. The game did a good job of keeping the good shit for the end. I’m pretty excited about finding out answers to a bunch of stuff, primarily morgana. I think he was my favorite character, I never ONCE removed him from my active party. Like, throughout the entire game.
That reminds me…Morgana grew on me ALOT !

I’ve been fusing some Max Social Link Personas and that shit is expensive at my level. Did Cybele and Sandolphin. Got Gabriel as well. Working on Raphael and Uriel so I can fuse Michael, then Metatron after that. I’m trying to get a full squad of angels, archangels, and fallen angels.

I wish there was a trophy for taking Arsene all the way to the endgame without losing him.
I wish he would level up like everyone else’s . but instead you lose this really cool designed persona immediately and don’t get your upgrade until its WAY too late in the game. even then they might not even be strong enough to use, i went through hell to get Thanatos in P3 and it turns out he was fucking terrible.
I thought about sacrificing personas to keep Arsene around but it didn’t feel worth it since the abilities you inherit are random.
Cards aren’t random though and there’s a lot of good card skills. Well, it’s definitely true that it takes work to keep Arsene but I think people who do that are prepared for the fact that they’re playing in a way that isn’t really intended, just allowed.
I did the sacrifice thing and kept the same two personas for the entire game. They were pretty op.
