I have the sinking feeling that whenever P5A happens…Joker and Yu Narukami are not going to get along very well.
Neither would Ryuji and Chie. Yusuke and Kanji will get along great.
I just want to see Akihiko and Misturu show up. I absolutely love the idea that after they all have their own encounters that Mitsuru just goes around and organizes all the Persona users along with her right hand man/bodyguard Akihiko, who by now has probably reached SSJ2.
edit: and with that Persona 5 is now the second RPG ive beaten.

the ending overall was nice, a lot kinder than P3s thats for sure. honestly im more amazed that Morgana can fix cars in cat form than anything else. I may be reading too deep into this, but what it said about cognition was VERY interesting in terms of how it affects the series as a whole. it implies pretty much anything can happen if there is a strong enough desire or belief which would explain all the shadow outbreaks through different forms and methods. kind of scary to consider just how easy it is to cause the end of the world and how fucked they would be if Igor didn’t step in to give people a means to combat it.
It was kind of sad seeing how little social links i was able max and none of them were my team mates. im going to fix that next time as well as have a romance this time, mostly so the game stops forcing me into awkward situations when im supposed to be with my girlfriend or something.

I actually like Strange Journey more than P5. I actually never beat it, I got grind burn out.
ive been meaning to get that one of these days. from what ive heard it’s either one the hardest or THE hardest SMT games.
Strange Journey is coded in bullshit. Seriously, that game is fucking impossible.
I got bodied by the final boss in Strange Journey. Haven’t touched the game since.
I liked the story, settings, and characters. As far as difficulty, it isn’t hard if you grind and use an online encyclopedia to guide you through the fusion process… so yeah, that ish is hard lol.
Don’t get me wrong - I keep all my all my games. I have every game I’ve ever bought from PS1 to present. Sadly my NES and Genesis games are nowhere to be found - probably in storage or in the basement of my parents old house.
I love to have them for the memories I get just looking at them, but playing them again just seems like a waste of time to me. Looking at the shelf, the only game I can think would be dope to play again (beside the FF7 remake) is Chrono Cross.
I really like Strange Journey, but it does get repetitive after awhile.
Clearing areas, prepping for bosses, then actually beating the boss it a lot work. Then you get sent to the next area and have to do it all over again. The atmosphere and gameplay are all solid though.
Finished the game and got the true ending.

when Sae said u have to turn yourself in i was SURE the ending was gonna be a real tearjerker where you leave all them people behind in 1 last goodbye, sorta. Glad to see i was wrong.
Overall…This game is TOO GOOD! TOOOOO GOOOOD
I finally beat the game. It took me 142 hours to do it. Got all my characters to level 78, completed 65% of the compendium and out of the 21 social links only 5 didn’t get max’d. Tried to get as much done on my first playthrough. I never got to make Lucifer but I settled for Satan. He saved my ass in the final battle.

The Igor twist near the end fucking floored me. Knowing Yaldabaoth has been Igor the whole game puts me at ease with his awful voice. Listening to the real Igor was great. Not quite the same as P3 and P4 but it was still a great listening to his voice. Lavenza is a cutie.
Bring on P5A and Persona 5 Dancing All Night.
Videogames are inherently a waste of time, so playing them more then once doesn’t really change that. If you think you’d have fun giving them another go that’s really all the reason you need.
If not tho whatever, I’m sure they are fine collecting dust shrug
