Me and SolidRose’s matches?
Any matches, really.
I can upload stuff if someone can tell me where I can find the video.
I have to go earlier actually sorry, can’t play tonight, I will play you next time I have access.
my Gief wants a word with you today
Don’t worry about it :D. One of these days I will face your Asuka :nunchuck:.
Until then, I will wait for your challenge…
Or I might just come out of no-where by challenging Pesara which will then somehow lead to fighting you. (Strange but that has happened before in my experience o_O)
Is anyone online? I’m playing like crap… but I’m still bored.
Anyone who needs something uploaded, let me know. I have my PVR here but I’m shit, so I better upload matches of good players
sure we could play sometime. If my connection wants to be stable of course…
also…grats to the alioune sensei showing the world and cammy that there is only room for one blonde girl with a dive kick, and 3 over heads, and a counter, and a command anti air, and a invincible ex dp, and air throw. >=)
First it’s Europe and then THE WORLD! March on Lili army!

Heh might happen, could be at his house.
we we have?! .-.?
sorry i didn’t play right away, got caught up in ranked matches.
Just thinking aloud here based on some recent posts: Why do some dislike runaway so much? Its a staple of Street Fighter, its been around since the birth of the franchise. I know its irritating as hell to lose to a good runaway player, but some of the most intense matches are between two intense zoning characters! So much of it is based on reactions and good reads, its really great to watch a good zoning match. Good zoning also made me appreciate good characters like Zangief, who REALLY had to work hard for that one knockdown. Nowadays its much easier for him to get in, kind of kills the precision and intensity.
I played a shit-ton of HDR Cammy and loved getting through fireball traps and such. Once I got in I’d go to work, felt like toppling a huge wall. I’m arguing in favor of runaway even though Cammy was an intense rushdown character. Even in SF4 I mostly played Bison and Akuma, two pressure characters. I don’t know, I think people who dismiss runaway as “lame and spammy” are selling the franchise short.
Runaway is not nearly as strong in SFxT, jumps cover too much space for that to be true. People who bitch about this shit need to spend a day playing with ST Zangief, ST Fei-Long, and so forth. Focus attacks won’t be around to save you forever.
I can’t speak for everyone, but I don’t mind runaway. I like that you have to work to get in against characters with a good fireball. However, with that said, I hate Guile runaway. Mainly because of the really short recovery on his Sonic Booms, making it almost impossible to jump and punish on reaction. I find that the purpose of jumps is to be able to get over fireballs and get in on someone who is abusing fireballs, if you are able to get that close in the first place. With Guile’s Sonic Boom, it’s like even if you react to a sonic boom you can’t punish him for it with a jump. I find that it kind of defeats the purpose of jumps.
I can deal with Guile, and I know how to fight him. It’s just that one aspect that really annoys me for some reason…
Non- SF X TK related
Just saw Wreck-it-Ralph
Really cool movie with tons of characters/references running around. I wanted to observe the background a bit more - obviously I was watching the movie, haha.
I don’t want to spoil anything but the Street Fighter franchise gets several moments on screen.
stick around through the credits as well, good movie and highly recommened.
pretty sure of it… then again maybe i just randomly sent you a message asking to team up and you never replied. Either way i know i’ve seen you before
I don’t mind runaway, but if that’s the sole aspect of someone’s gameplan at the expense of everything else(“I’m not doing anything unless it starts with a counter attack”), then I just feel sorry for them. It’s a facet of every character’s game plan, but if that’s the whole gameplan :shake: Its just a matter of time before they get figured out, get behind, and then mindfuck themselves into a loss because they don’t have any idea how to press for a win when they need to. Just try it sometime. Play someone who goes into Just Dance! mode at fullscreen for 45 seconds, bait them into their basic counterattack and get yourself the life lead, then retreat fullscreen and do nothing. You can just watch players self destruct at the thought of having to turn on the aggression and having no clue how to do it.
