I saw WIR last night as well. 9 street fighter characters show up that I saw. Maybe even a couple i missed. Though no idea what you are talking about after the credits. After the credits the only thing that I saw was the disney castle in “pixelated” form. And I wish it had a bit more for the old schoolers. The kids the movie was made for don’t even know most of the characters in the movie. Still friends and I had a good time.

back on sfxt though. I am really looking forward to the SF 25th tourney. The actual tournament should really show some great matches compared to what we have at these qualifiers.

That movie had one of the most honestly adorable characters I’ve seen in a movie in recent years. Just wanted to hug that lil’ kid she’s so precious!

OMG YESSSSS THISS. I plan for this a lot of the time, the minute I see it. “You want to run to the corner? Juri likey the corner. You will never leave.”

As someone who didn’t appreciate “runaway” and/or “keepaway” until I played Rose in A2… I now admire “smart” runaway, a good zoning game, etc.

Hell I will “run away” in Tekken if I notice time is on my side and you need to come to me. I don’t care, I take it however I can get it.

I say “smart runaway” though, because holding up-back is not smart unless you know absolutely there is no way they can catch you in time. Doing that with 15+ seconds on the clock in this game is not good - you still need to carefully zone.

I was curious about that movie, when I heard about it I thought it’d be cool, but the trailer itself seemed to “disney” for my tastes, glad to hear it’s not another Brave.

Okay I know I’m dragging this even further off topic but what happened to Brave? I barely hear anything about it now, it’s like it snuck into theaters and vanished. O_O

Still want to see it myself of course.

It was massively different compared to what the trailers showcased the movie to be. Felt like a ‘cop out’ plot to me, where you are supposed to go “aww that was sweet”, and forget what you wanted to see, or at least hoped would have been developed on more.

That’s disappointing to hear, I was looking forward to it. Still will see it to see how t turned out, but I figured it would be a strong theme they couldn’t mess up…

I need to play this game more…I hopped online today and just absolutely crashed. Couldn’t do anything right…trying to anti-air with Ken’s :b: :mk: and Heihachi’s counter…messing up frame-traps and just mashing on launcher when I know I shouldn’t be…and mashing in general due to the frustration of not doing stuff right, which leads to further frustration for the mashing not working which leads to further frustration…

…yeah. I need to practice more against human opponents.

Similar thing happened when I went back to SF4 for a bit. Forgot all about how to play Cody and Yang. :sweat:

Just goes to show that you can’t take extended breaks with these games and expect to do well as soon as you get back…

No. The matchmaking sucks. Its backwards. It puts higher levels against lower levels. Never in the same range. I see A’s and A+'s on all the time and I will never fight them. Its rare.

It’s not that I don’t mind runaway, but when you runaway with Rufus, who is not a runaway character, now that is a problem. Sure I know you have to get some space, but I’m talking about literally jumping around the whole match. Heck my tag partner is a Guile player. He is the reason I even picked him up. All he does is runaway, but that feeling you get when you finally catch someone running away is amazing.

Now I know certain characters are designed around that and that is cool. But running away like you’ve never played the game and there is like 45 seconds on the clock is weak. And thats why I said I won’t fight Legit. We used to go at it all the time. I had him downloaded and then he figured if he ran away then he would be cool. He does the same thing to Vietnam Generals. We all used to go at it but me and Vietnam just stopped fighting him because he got so lame.

I appreciate good zoning. Thats why I know with this patch zoning will be like it should with footsies instead or crouching hit confirms.

As we know so far ver.2013 is looking to be more offensive with more consistent AAs,grey health reduction, buff to some character’s walk speed,buff to normals and specials. How will this change the current gem “meta game” where most are stacking defensive gems and health gems that compliments the current slow paced,turtle style of play where even rush down characters are staying across the stage. Could we be seeing a shift in gem usage with more power,meter and speed gems? Or will defense gems be just as viable as before?

I’m wondering if they will nerf those gems at all considering how powerful they are when it comes to laming the opponent out. I personally don’t use them but it’s pretty annoying when my opponent does. I think that might be one of the more annoying things in game. Even though my team has a very high damage output I still manage to get time-outs against players who use full loadouts of defensive gems.

There are times where I feel the game cheated me for a win when I land a heavily damaging combo, then I look at their gems and see why.

Slightly off topic. But with Halo 4 coming out this Tuesday i don’t know how much SFxT i will be playing in November. Anyone else facing the same dilemma?

dun like halo. got a lot of work before i’m ready for nec. Hyberbolic training must be had!

I don’t see myself going 2 weeks without any play, but that game will have my attention for the most part (if it doesn’t suck, lol)

I already went through this when RE6 dropped.

i fixed my pad. i grabbed a dpad from my old original hori… i cant believe i stuck the same one in that i had just taken out.

i couldnt leave after you knocked my ass into the corner :confused:
