Wait, the lower body invincibly is where the air crush property comes from?

Well doesnt it say “Andante – Removed lower body invincibility against air attacks”, it doesnt say anything about air crush, so maybe its only the lower part of her body that will get hit if you use it too late, but it will work normally from the upper part.

Not thrilled myself. When I saw that nerf, Jin and Hei’s J.HK was the first thing that popped up in my mind. Still gotta wait and see how bad it got nerfed.

Yes. Anything with upperbody invincibility means you cannot hurt them from the head down to their knees. At a certain frame of lili’s Andante she gains air crush aka upper body invincibility that’s why it’s so strong as of move. It’s just really slow. But the 8 frames means start up means she can at least combo into it…um yay?!

uhm I still don’t get it. You mention upperbody invincibility, but the nerf mentions “lower body”…so I’m not really following the “supposed air crush” nerf

sorry i did say that wrong. Because they are taking that way she will trade more. I guess you could say her leg is a lower part of her body and therefore it losses it hurt box when it kicks in by anyway that’s besides the point. The write up is done. I’ve given you my expert knowledge of lili and what the changes really mean. I won’t post it here but i’ll post it in the 2013 changes and lili guide. That AA nerf only means you need to react faster to deep jump ins. It will still float on trade so you can still combo.

I don’t really understand why so many characters got damage adjustments to their throws, except for Sakura; both her forward and back throws do 100 damage. She also got her Hadoken nerfed, because it was obviously too good. The LK nerf is nice too, now you can’t even do easier links and her footsies will be affected slightly. There are some slight buffs, such as c. HP getting a smaller hurtbox, but I feel that the nerfs far outweigh anything she is getting “improved.” And I hope this is some kind of error, because her special moves seem to build less meter on hit now.

I tested her hard Shunpukyaku yesterday, and hitting 3 raw ones builds 1 meter.
Can anyone explain to me why it will take her TWELVE hard versions to build 1 bar in 2013, or am I reading the notes wrong?

I want to try those new asuka combos so bad and hurray for no more 1 frame link combos off her overhead.

Quick question.The patch note stated that Leg Cutter 2nd Hit is -6 on block now. Does that affect whether she’s safe or not when she cadc out of it?

Why in the fuck are they buffing characters like Law, Jin, Heihachi, and Kuma? What the fuck? Then they go and buff Chun Li as well. What the fuck are they smoking over there at Capcom?

So some characters have air crush moves now?

Please give my Elena low crush properties on :hk: and :f::hk:( including all crouch normals that hit horizontal)

Kuma isn’t nearly as buff as you imagine he is. You definitely have to play him the right way otherwise you’ll get beat up. Lack of match-up knowledge is in part why seems so good right now, IMO. Plus Break’n got nerfed and L frolicking bear is much better anti-air but does lower damage now.

welp i know what my secondary team is gonna be. I know i don’t wanna break tradition of having one sf and one tk character but i’m gonna go hwo and lili =)

Why do you assume I was suggesting buffing boost combos? lol that thing has been nerfed universally…and its a mechanic and not character specific thing. I am not against nerfing mechanics as long as character specifics get addressed properly. If anything this game does need to make pandora be buffed.

I know a lot of people are gonna be like…“No We don’t want viable comeback mechanisms. That’s for scrubs. This an honest fighting game let’s keep that shit outta here”

Unfortunately, Pandora is in the game. Either we take it out or make it into something better. I know Pandora tech has been discovered. But the mechanism is still ass. Sorry, Pandora defenders. Pandora is still ass. It needs to be tweaked to be more viable. It has a lot of flaws as it is. One of them being the game timer and the pandora timer. Game Time needs to be frozen while Pandora is happening. After all, you do wanna keep the pandora cinematic., right? Looks too sweet to cut just because of how silly the timer is at its current state. Yeah I know people like that fact that at 10 seconds remaining there’s literally nothing you can do with Pandora. Killing part of its comeback potential. If you wanna keep the game timer running during the activation cinematic that sounds like a reasonable happy medium. I think it’s fine so people don’t activate pandora at the very last second. You are gonna be forced to activate at the last 5 seconds as the lowest you can go to activate.

You know that’s just me brainstorming.

I still think arguing whether too much nerfing or too much buffing is good or bad won’t go anywhere. It’s a subject that is basically based of opinions rather than facts. It’s a clash of ideals more than anything. Most older players would agree with the whole more buffing less nerfing mentally while newer guys would think nerfing is ok. It is always going to be an eternal debate within theory fighting. I find that you calling my request of buffing character to be stupid reasoning is quite disrespectful. Almost sounds like you won’t ever accept the idea of having a healthy character cast that would compete well against each other at the highest level. Trust me Ryu would be technically nerfed in comparison if a lot of characters were buffed to the point of matching him. Keeping current Ryu against a bunch of new stronger characters actually sounds better as far as the competitive aspect is concerned. I don’t know about you but having a bunch of weakened characters doesn’t really sound that exciting.

damn i having mix feelings on this patch right now. I am glad that most of tekken characters who i wanted to play got buff but at the same time it seems my street fighter characters i really want to play got nerf pretty hard. Even if they where not a good character.
