They might cry for a nerf but at least we can have our fun for a bit
I mainly want to use her due to her reach, Birdie is cool and all but I don’t like how they refuse to spice him up. FAL has reach and some cool looking combos…and I bet you can pull off a very defensive play style with her…something I can’t really do with Karin/Juri per say
I was gonna go to History Club yesterday but Overwatch updated and I wanted to watch Widowmaker step on me for two hours.

Also I think Falke is stiff but… she’s a weapons based fighter that works in a game like SF. I think if this was GG she’d have more wind up and release on her normal’s. Like her st.LP and cr.LP look kinda bland but if this was anime she’d have more wind up for those moves. It’s not something that’s gonna bother me all that much since “waifu” but yeah.
VT1 looks really good on Falke. The fact that it’s two bar and doesn’t look horrifically unsafe on block like VT2 is a big plus (she seriously does the firing animation even if the initial VT2 attack doesn’t hit? Yikes).
I’m sure it’s not gonna be as cool looking or combo heavy as VT2 but it just looks more… I dunno, solid, y’know? Def gonna play around with it on day 1
VT1 is better for a bunch of reasons. Get cancels with fireball into VTC fireball. All of the fireballs get juiced up. Can cancel a good amount of normals into fireball. Air fireball ricochets of the ground for stupid space control and frame trap potential, only 2 bars, gets a new straight shotgun fireball that spreads out further (not sure about frame data), definitely the way to go. Especially since she’ll be seemingly great at V Gauge building.
The unsafety of VT2 VTC makes it not worth playing IMO. Looks like you have to hit confirm into it or its unsafe on block. Very strange.
Infil was saying that despite her having Ed inputs, she’s actually going to be quite complicated. The way she charges her attacks is similar to Juri in SF4. It isn’t just hitting buttons, you have to do finger gymnastics sometimes. Seems like she might be a really technical character.
I’m looking forward to giving her a spin. I’ve always liked characters with weapons. Soul Calibur 6 prep.
