She’s clearly better than Ed just from what I’m seeing already. Actual big ass buttons. CC buttons that can cancel into shit. Standing low makes her better than Ed pretty much on its own. Air fireball from any jump.

Definitely not their best, but sfill better than most other fighters. Compared to other SF5 characters, she’s bottom half for sure. But I also she is intended to be a stiff character.
In a vacuum, sure. Now look at all of that in actual perspective.
Big Ass Buttons…but none are particularly bigger than Ed’s s.HK which is both safer than her biggest buttons AND also does convert from CC as well.
A Standing Low she can convert off of…but she always has to open her strings with it. If the opponent blocks even one normal beforehand, they can just walk out of it.
Air Fireball is solid, but also telegraphed due to needing to be charged beforehand. Honestly, it’s more important that she can change her air momentum at will rather than the FB itself. Makes her trickier to anti-air but she’s also a lot worse than most characters up close (as should be expected from a staff character).
She also has terrible ground movement (to make up for “potential” ground superiority) and no tick throws from block.
She has a TON of Ed syndrome where she looks like she has a lot of really good stuff in a vacuum, but when put together, actually isn’t all that good, especially when it comes to certain things just lacking a pixel or two of range that would change a lot.
Falke has a nice juicy ass.
and some nice meaty breasts, too.
Her s.HP is already better than any of Ed’s CC’s. The range that that can snipe and CC from is OD.
She apparently has an overhead so with standing low her mix up is already above Ed’s. Ed pretty much has to purely rely on frame traps to open people up while not being as versatile button or rush wise as Cammy.
We’ve seen air fireballs that are telegraphed and still really good. Especially if you’ve played Marvel. V Trigger one charged air fireballs lock up most of the screen and puts people in block stun long enough to dash in for shit.
Her ground movement is basically as good or slightly better than Menat’s with even more things to do from a range. She may not have true tick thorw (which may not even be true if they missed a button or situation to test) but with her options you’ll likely be able to scare people into throws regardless. Plus her V Skill combos even off her lights so she can always be fishing from a range into V gauge build. Looking good to me so far.
Considering that Juri the worst thing that came out of Sf4, no.
Juri players weird me out. They are super obsessed with her to the point of downright creepy ness and have a weird foot fetish.
I don’t have any faith in Falke. I expect her to be low tier for a long while.
Her neutral already beats half the cast as it is so at minimum she starts at mid tier. It’s just how far she goes up.
Menat had a little bit of this downplay for similar reasons, then once they realized a lot of the cast can’t even really play neutral with her, shit was done.
I really don’t believe her Neutral is nearly as good as you believe it to be. She doesn’t have anywhere close to Menat’s buttons.
Unless she has huge hurt boxes around all of those normals she’s about the closest the game has gotten to Menat again button wise. With lights that bnb.
Falke could be potentially annoying to fight once people will figured out how to space her normals. Like Ed jump on Falke is a bad idea, her fireballs aren’t scary, I’m curious about the recovery of the low ground one.
I’m gonna blacklist whoever use Falke without her battle costume, just a warning.

first impressions aren’t great, but could make for a fun secondary.
You probably will be wrong since anybody with long, strong neutral with damage on bnbs (which so far looks exactly like Falke) has jumped up nicely in this game because half the other cast is about “tiny” buttons with big hurtboxes around them.
Her air fireball you’ll be able to hide with other buttons and telegraph whether you’re jumping to air fireball or jumping to zone or jump in with her j.HP or other buttons. Then in V Trigger 1 she can cancel her j.HP to air fireball.
The fact that she has an air fireball and dive kick that both work on back jump should be setting off alarms alone. Not even Akuma can do one of those things without VT1.
The only issue I’ve heard that is a bit concerning is that she doesn’t have the orb stance disjoints on her buttons like Menat, but Menat has to trade some things to get those orb disjoints. You’ll most likely be able to counter poke and possibly whiff punish some of Falke’s buttons, but they’re still huge and she’ll have better conversions off of them than orbed Menat.
I am going to main her and Devil Jin is going to share all of his tech, videos and meta so I can become strong. Edit: Also I hope to go a little deeper into the lore because I’m still kinda confused about where her and Ed stand…
