SFV Lounge: SRK Cross Tag Battle

I noticed it was able to go through Rashid’s projectile when in a string if delayed properly (so that it wouldn’t stuff the start-up)… so yeah that’s rather new. It used to just flat out trade before with the projectile hitting Ken, no matter if delayed or done early. Idk if it’s the same stats as before, or if invul starts earlier.

Still don’t know for how long it’s projectile invincible though or what actually adjusted. Would need to look into hitbox/flag checks.

Otherwise, I’m probably going to call it placebo since he had frame 3-6 Fierce DP proj inv for a while… and just assume the Rashid change was “that” bad (which makes sense).

EDIT: Confirmed placebo. Nothing changed with Fierce DP projectile invincibility.

I can’t speak for everyone else but I am a figment of your imagination.

Alright, so people using their mains in Casual Matches has its good sides as well. It feels particularly great when you beat some Super Platinum Guile main with your day 2 Sakura, especially if you’re just randomly throwing out heavy Tatsus in neutral.

Speaking of: people will complain so much about that move in a few weeks. It’s positively braindead. But I think at least one of your tools has to be like that in this game if your character wants to keep up.

People are absolutely going to get Sakura nerfed to death next balance update that she is gud…

just when you work there :coffee:

The new Alex is very strong, a sum up of his new buffs for non Alex players -

More midscreen damage

More corner damage

+3 oH ender from mid combo routes

Can now make Lariat an uncounterable mixup outside of EX reversals

More AA damage

A 5f command grab so +2 is now a true 50/50 mixup for him

Alex is hella buff now. One extra tidbit is that his hard hits don’t have the new CC scaling value, so when he stuns you into a hard hit you take pre patch scaling in addition to his new increased damage.

Alex keeps getting

Overstuffed

Over the limit

Alex is THE manly man of S3.5.

man people are still complaining about alex like season 1 alex was better than this version, he got like all his buttons and specials buffed what more do you want?

Yeah I knew Alex had potential in 3.5 once I saw a comp of Infil wrecking fools with him

I was skeptical at first, but Alex’s buffs really were pretty good.

He’s still weak on wake up and has to eat certain jump ins though, so I can’t really make any big tier change predictions about him yet.

Replacing your husbando with a man 12 years your junior now?

Nope. I already sailed ship to a younger girl, like the good middle aged person I am. :stuck_out_tongue:

If Hitler-cat says Alex is good, Alex is good.

From all the characters alex is the one that I dont want to be good. alex hipsters!

its just annoying how people keep using season 1 versions of a character as the base of when they were really good. S1 nash was good but only cause of a stupid play style and system engine made him that good but now i feel like hes better in terms of his rushdown

Can’t remember the last time I won against Alex and I suppose my win quote won’t increase now.

Alex was my side character in 3S so I can’t hate. He has 3S Eagle Dive/Superman juggles now so I def can’t hate. He doesn’t lose.

It’s because S1 Alex was his best version by a considerable margin until now.
