What is more quality about DBFZ, than any other ASW games?
It has the same graphics as GG, thats about the only good thing this game has.
It has the worst Campainge in any ASW game, the story is the worst thing I ever had to experience, heck NRS Edgelord battle royal storys are better and that I say this means a lot, since I hate NRS with a passion.
The gameplay is dull and more repetetive than SFV’s, a great achivemeant.
The roster is shit and suddendly clones are populare, while they have been hated on in the FGC for over a Decade.
If anything, DBFZ shows how many hypocrits are in the FGC and how biatched people are.
Calling that steampile of shit a quality product over so many far superior games from the same developers is a gigantic insult.
It’s on par with their other titles, looks better than the anime at emulating the look of DBZ and considering it’s their first dive into a tag based game it plays great.

SFV wouldn’t have survived without it’s license either, yet because of it’s fanbase people strive to make it a better game.

Most of the FGC is incredibly childish. It’s not a harmony of people playing what they like and being respectful of others. Most are extremely protective of their own games and get pissy that people play other games that they don’t like. In reality the FGC is the ultimate dick measuring contest, where people think you can be superior based on the game you play.
DBFZ is also a 3v3 assist styled game
Since Marvel changed its format there isn’t any other fighter out there right now that provides that. And a lot of people like that format. Maybe that’s a big reason why people flock to it, on top of the license? That doesn’t seem very hypocritical to me.
I’m not really interested in bashing heads with anyone over it, but to have a viewpoint that believes a game can be destructive because it’s popular among the community and isn’t quite what you wanted is something that spurs a lot of negativity across a community.
I don’t necessarily think DBFZ is a game I’m into, but it’s in no way a negative asset, just like GG. I rag on Smash and SFxT for a laugh but I’d never want to see their deaths, that’s the same as saying “I hope people can’t have fun any more”

I had one of them some time ago who went to the BB forums from the SFIV forums, just to tell them that they are disrespectfull people and have no skill or right to speak about fighter, because they’re not playing SFIV.
Since DBFZ is out, there are constantly people who downplay the issue because they don’t want to admit that the game has the same problems other games have and that THEY complained about them.
It’s not about the people who say this, it’s about the people who say the problems exist in Game A, but downplay them in Game B, because they need to be protective about it.
Jesus, there are still enough people who belive SFIV was always beloved and what happend with SFV, didn’t happen with any game before.

It’s not very hard to understand that when someone enjoys a game, it’s possible to enjoy while understanding it has flaws. You may have never considered that people aren’t “downplaying” like it’s some sort of competition which game is factually best, but the negatives of that game are outweighed by the enjoyment they get out of it.

See this isn’t downplaying, this is not caring about the negative impacts of a specific tool because you like the rest of the package.
SFV’s ground neutral is heavily impacted by the inclusion of poor animation in forward moving tools and a priority based system with low recovery heavy attacks that can lead into full combos on CCs, yet people enjoy the game because even though an aspect of it is annoying, it’s possible to enjoy something even if it has apparent issues.
