If this was during S2 and retail/vanilla SFV, this is wrong in many levels, but were currently in AE S3 so the guy is right.
What people need is new tools. IMHO.
To absolutely nobody’s surprise, I wake up this morning to zero SF news.
On a more positive note, I watched Assassin’s Fist yesterday, which despite being about 30 minutes too long was a rather decent effort in getting the SF lore onto the screen. Special moves and effects looked kind of cheesy but they really respected the source materiel and dare I say I’d like to see more from these guys.

I don’t think anybody would have a problem with that if they changed the core mechanics, tweaked the artstyle/models/animations, and added a shit ton. They fucked up so much on a base level however that may not be possible or worth the effort.
As much as I rag on the game right now. I would miss most of the characters.
Capcom brought this on themself anyway. The whole pay for new shit model sucks. No wonder dudes are thirsty as fuck when you keep drip feeding them crackers every 5 months.
I honestly just prefered the disc release. I give you a bunch of dollars, you give me a bunch of stuff.

Blame that to the fake news central. Even that guy was already receiving threats and rage on his accounts just to post something about a character. lol
If that guy never existed that post speculation and fake news mix with his datamine while acting like a somebody superior to threaten capcom, everything would be just alright with expectancy.
That guy was crying out of drama and attention. His lies is catching up on him.
Maybe that’s why Daemos is gone, he knew deep in his heart we were getting (mostly) nothing at FR

The thing I am mostly disappointed about is the lack of new Chun costumes. I truly believed that wave would never die.

Officially that awkward period where gameplay development has ceased but Capcom still wants to sell us new stages and costumes.

Well over six months ago since G/Sagat dropped together. The worst part is as usual Capcom isn’t communicating at all.

Y’all believers deserved that, Capcom first goal is making Benji’s so why put some effort in doing an huge update asap when they can get money just selling out costumes and stages? They will have always shills protecting them anyway, especially if they’ll already satisfied with the game. I don’t expect nothing real big tbh, whoever isn’t satisfied with SFV can already focus their energy on SF6, plain and simple.

The problem is were denying a portion of what they did recently.
They probably will continuously still release something before 2020, but it’s unlikely that they would say anything about there would be nothing because that means they won’t continue on something till 2020.
The last thing they probably announce is that when they official cut the support on SFV and reveal SF6 rather than announcement dedicated to nothing.
Is it even a good idea to schedule an announcement of stage release? then do another when it was release?
Honestly though Capcom should say SOMETHING about what they’re doing
I don’t care even if the wait is until December, but not knowing anything about what they plan just makes the wait for something (or nothing) that much worse

As for characters they probably aren’t finalizing of cutting support, that probably depends on people interest and feedback in SFV.
Because if they would declared that Kage is the last character officially it would cut down any possibility of future character development and change expectancy along will following overall in SFV.

This is the same company that told us when Kage dropped that they would have more news about season 4 “soon” like 3 months ago about now. Nobody considers stages and costume season stuff.
