Yo Cipher, why so negative all the time though ?
SFV is far from perfect I agree, but I’ve seen worst.

He’s a troll. Pretty sure he posts here just to trigger people. He definitely doesn’t play the game or like the people here.
Tbh I like the small community we have here quite a lot.
Bunch of thirsty bastards.
Akuma never wins tournaments.
Therefore he’s bad.
Rashid is the truth.
Not on Twitter.
Ryu is so simple yet so fun. Like you have to choose which tatsu ender combo you do depending on where on screen you’re on. I think y’all sleeping on Ryu on the tier lists honestly.
What does he have that Akuma doesn’t?
Don’t say more health lol
If he’s in vtrigger and knocks you down you gotta take his charged fb, if you block it you get combo’d.
Only kinda sorta? It’s an easy reaction for an anti fireball move a lot of the time.
And the guard crush combo is puny. If you have health you can practically just take it.
Also, guard crush meaty fireball setups are not common.
GGs from last night. Think we played close to 40 games. My Menat is obviously ass .
The good stuff you did:
The stuff you have to work on.
Playing your kage felt like I was playing against a bad version of Ryu. Think this was a similar issue you had with Ed; you’re looking for somebody to fill out a gameplan you like rather than looking for characters with strengths that suit you. Because of how you play, you definitely should be playing Ryu. Its what you’re trying to do. But in all the games we played, you didn’t really try to do any type of stomp pressure. Short term, you need to get on training mode for at least 20 mins and work out one stomp combo you’re gonna try in matches. Doing cr.mp, st.mp xx hadou is only going to end with you being frustrated.
You’re jumping from okay spots, but you’re jumping from really predictable spots. Be a little bit careful with it because its near guaranteed that people are going to pick up on it. Not sure if its conscious or unconscious, but its consistent. Keep that in mind when you’re working on your movement.
You’re also mashing a lot. Its working on air reset situations in certain spots, but you also hate some CCs and other counterhit combos that you had no business eating either. I literally did random stuff and went “Yep, this is where it works out” and it would. With the unfamiliar characters, you got blown up in those spots, with the other ones, you had more leeway. Considering you’re only going to play people who are familiar with the characters they play, that habit is a liability in the long term.
If you want to start playing him, you really need to figure out at least one combo that ends in knockdown and one meaty from it. That basically gives you as basic a gameplan as you could want to get started.
More stun.
Yeah wrong data, but EX rainbow is invincible from frame 3 until about frame 21, so if they do anything other than like a meaty you’re out of there basically. Can wait for any potentially gapped blockstring or shimmy and roll out.
Forgot to add something because its an issue that @beekmeer has too: You refuse to pressure people. You guys do this walk away thing and give up the stage for weird unknown reasons. If you knock me down or have me cornered, don’t walk back. Just stay on my ass, harass me. When I played FANG against you, the way the last round ended was from me hitting basic frame traps in front of your face just to pressure you.
You died trying to hit a button. So just try and get comfortable with being in front of somebody’s face. Unless you have an overwhelming life advantage that you think you can leverage with midscreen play, get in that ass. You got me a good bunch of times with overheads. Just work your frame traps and throw game instead of giving your opponent free screen real estate.
GGs again.
Looks like he can juggle after that.
Why bother playing X at all?
Thats why I say just pick all the “insert best char here” and hold hands together!
I have to whomit everytime I read comments like these.
You mean like the bunch of halfassed hyphocrites who complain about this shit game the whole time and yet find excuses to keep playing it.
I can’t stand half of the twitts here, yet I can stand the other half.
Shitheads like you are the reason I need to keep a righthous Crusade up.
Till SFV is purged and people play again good games, that they can truly enjoy!
Double post 'cause:
Made a bison not want to run it back. All praises to the most Bushin.
Let us know when you’re trying to purge Smash Ultimate.
right now, a better fireball. Ryu’s hadouken game is kind of underrated. Between that, a good dash and +3 St.MP he can play a pretty solid game against people. His problem is that a lot of his “play SF5 tools” were neutered without replacement.
Problem with Ryu is that whenever I fight him (whether it’s with Falke or Ibuki) I still feel like it’s mostly the player that has to beat me and never the character. Long as the player doesn’t out play me, there’s no Ryu shit that is going to beat me. That’s usually the sign of a character that just isn’t going to push anything in tournaments.
