The big change to her in AE was taking away regular divekick stuff for insanely improved frame data.
So much so that Ricky Ortiz was on it while people were going crazy over Yun. So yeah, anytime she is crazy top tier its from her normals. Backthrow silliness bwing SF4 trash that’s additional to her toolset.

Juli is Bottom and Juni is Seth with Cammy Normals. Yeah you don’t want to fight a Cammy with Teleports and SPDs.

I always felt Cammy normals in SF4 were just sort of pretty good. They had good frame data and hitboxes and her drills turned those normals into solid whiff punishment tools and gave her a very long range sweep of sorts. But the range on most of her conversion normals was fairly average or below. You’d see k-brad in Ultra doing stuff like trying to predict and counterpoke normals with light divekick because her cr.MK and far HK didn’t really get the job done as well as you’d think.
EX dives were still strong neutrally and once she got in you were still taking dives sometimes. She lost the being able to spam meterless dives forever, but now it’s a just a character with OD neutral that still has dives that are good for her gameplan.
She has a shallow jump in SFIV also so she can generally force hands out of people jumping in general easier than other characters.
This made me quiver a little bit.

Metered divekicks being good was fine. They mostly blew up crouch techs (which she got a million frame traps to blow up anyways).
But her doing divekicks from midscreen is a big difference from getting jackhammered by stuff point blank that dealt chip damage and was +.

Yeah Juni is nuts. She has all of Cammy’s moves plus the ability to push block, dive kick, air spiral arrow, command grab and teleport dash. Being a charge character does not account for those additional tools.
everybody’s acting like birdie is helpless against akuma i genuinely think birdie wins the matchup, birdie players are just too use to cr.mp to anti air you can use cr.hp to straight up beat demon flips since his cr.hp hits higher up the worst that can happen is a trade but it’ll be in birdies favor all the time fuudo noticed it working but it was too late in the set.

To beat Mecha Fang, use the big shot instead of the wide shot.
