In SF4 I’ve reached a point where I’ve fell asleep while training. I don’t forget how much people were tired of SF4 BS and we made the mistake of thinking SFV would have been the savior of the SF playerbase. For the same reason I don’t understand why people gets hyped thinking on SF6, that game could be even worse than SFV is for them.
At the end of SF4 the Japanese revealed an OS able to tech,backdashing and dp all in one move. That game reached his Super Saiyan Blue level of nonsense, there wasn’t juice left in it anymore.
I would play SFV for even more 5 years if SF6 will be made without the hurry for business reasons first. The quality need to be top notch from the beginning, at least close to it.
Honestly I would say anyone with no knowledge of either game - turn SF4 on. Feel it.
It’s a snappy game. From the menu to the character select to the gameplay. The online was trash, which is why people say things like “nostalgia goggles” because SF4 arcade was awesome.
You’ve got the reverse nostgia gogles on. Yoga flame replays, Funny and cool moments… There was TONS of SF4 “general content”
Here’s another one. Remember proudstrawberys Gouken? Remember watching him and being like shit , this guy makes Gouken look insane!!! I want to play him, I want to watch him!
Now…what’s that SF5 equivalent? Shazy Cody is about the only dude I can think of.

Ahh we reached the stage where people are nostalgic for the piece of shit that is SFIV. Smfh V ain’t fucking perfect but I’ll be damned if I ever look back fondly on IV. That game can burn in Hell and be removed from history in its entirety. Y’all just salty from being washed by the turbulent wind.
I was just talking about combo videos specifically. I didn’t like SFIV in general so the hype stuff wouldn’t be hype for me. I just didn’t like the way the game played. When you’ve played fighting games competitively before SFIV, SFIV is more just SFIV.
As for the combo videos for SFIV this video here after you watch it, is like 90 percent of the combos in SFIV.

Then you have characters like Claw and Bipson who are just really jank for doing those type of combos.
