If G is at lvl 2 and he command grabs you in the corner its GGs… You know the one were he says “its showtime”
I love that G is not just a scumbag VT character, his neutral and long pokes are amazing.
Thats definitely why Gustavo especially is doing great with him. He finally gets a grabber that footsies well. Smugs neutral from playing him isnt anything amazing, but he makes good offensive decisions and easily has the best setups and conversions

I don’t care about Coolkid’s wife’s skin color but what she does isn’t cheering, she’s suffering from a brain tumor which is developing its own consciousness. At least from the sound of it.
People need to stop hating on CC wife, do you want Esport to be “sports entertainment” or not. One step is the crowd being hype, loud and obnoxious. I swear it’s like some people have never been a to game or watch a game live.

We ain’t at the court yelling at the opponents or cheering for our team, we’re playing videogames. No one said stop cheering for your favorite, but that’s include being annoying for the opponent? A player need to concentrate and find his groove, why I have to tolerate even someone who clearly is trying to distract you behind the hollow excuse of cheering? C’mon man, we can all heard her voice easily in the crowd. She don’t care if her behavior sounds annoying for his husband opponent, that’s just disrespectful. Japanese are just too polite to say something, but I wouldn’t if I had to travel from Japan to ‘enjoy’ all of that. Remember what she did when his beloved husband played against Punk last year? She almost entered the stage just to tell out at the Alpha. Stop.

I’m fine with Joy cheering for her husband, in fact, it’s wonderful to see a wife so supportive of her husband. But she needs to be mindful of others too. Practice some self control/restraint.

But that’s what people want to progress to right? If you want to be a spectator sport the 1st thing you have to get use to is screaming and yelling and heckling.
Part of the reason marvel is so hype is because of that very thing. People try to mimic that but still take away key parts of it, and thats why the “hype” now is so lame. The pop off’s are weak, the hype is weak, the cheering is weak, all of it feels water down and tame.
Anytime anyone does anything that is out of the norm or considered “edgy” the fgc gets on its high horse about how people should be acting or behaving or doing or saying and then we are right back to square one.
I wish the fgc would just embrace what made it one of the most hype scenes to watch and that was people being authentic to themselves.
I can’t image going to a football game and telling someone they are cheering to loudly. Like yeah its annoying and whack… but thats what they are there for.
It’s just annoying for everyone there. When CoolKid lost at the CenCal standoff tourney some months back to Stupendous, Joy and CoolKid were hella annoyed that Stupendous’ friends rushed the stage to congratulate him. So much so that Joy threw Sherry under the bus for simply being happy that her friend won. Nevermind the fact that CoolKid and Joy had no qualms about his friends rushing the stage to congratulate him during his big win against Xian at Evo.
She’s very annoying and yells like she has no home training. His cosigning ain’t any better when you sit back and look at things entirely. Call a spade a spade.

Joy is fucking annoying. There is a difference between rooting for your boy, and trying to upset the other player with your loud shit. Having said that, this is nothing new to the fgc. I had hecklers in my losers top 32 SG match literally one foot from my ears screaming obscenities about how bad I was and how shit I was and how I had no chance. It’s annoying but it’s what happens sometimes. Having said that, joy is overboard as she ALWAYS does it and she can even be heard over the fucking announcers.
I’ve never been a fan of the loud mvc2 style fgc shit… but you gotta know it’s out there and you might have to deal with it.

Sometimes I fucking hate this game.
Delay ex PP to cover corner cross up, gets pushed forward for no reason and end back up on the corner.
This happened at least 6 times against G players already.

You take the right decision to cover the opponent movement, you get punished for it.
It doesn’t. His HK stomp hurtbox is the same width as his standing hurtbox. It’s just spacing related.
Yeah, if you just barely move out of the corner, Falke’s EX DP sometimes does that. I think if you walk out of the corner for just a few frames more and then EX DP you’ll hit him clean.
