Capcom didn’t say anything, some characters are strong by nature and in SFV that means you don’t know what you’re going to get until release. OP Sagat isn’t something mandatory btw, I remember the cries during SF4 Vanilla days, pay attention on what you ask.
Obviously, no need for X-Kira to foresee this.

No, both look like great games but I’m not a huge fan of 3D games. Though the recent TWT matches in T7 were real hype so I may just end up grabbing it.

Mortal Kombat 11 won’t see the light of day until Playstation 5.
ps5 isn’t happening until holiday 2020 at the absolute earliest, so naw.

I can see MK11 being released on current generation for a few reasons but mostly to cash in on every platform.
Step 1 : release the game on PS4 and Xbox one
Step 2 : Release the game on PS5 and Xbox whatever and call it enhanced edition
Step 3 : Release a final version for PC shortly after Step 2
It’s a trend to resell the game as much as possible and many devs are doing it.Rockstar did it with GTA 5, they will do it with Red Dead 2. CDPR are gonna do it with Cyberpunk and so on.
PS : Also keep in mind that releasing a game they probably worked on for about 2 years so far on the new generation only is suicide because many people won’t buy the new consoles right on launch.Releasing it on current / old generation makes way more sense if they want to sell copies of the game.
release for ps4/xbox/pc at the same time…they should have learned after what happened with ij2.

but ij2 kinda “flopped” compared to the mkx sales on pc so it wouldnt be wise to do it again…hell at the end i hope we get a pc version at all…damn you warner…

Hawkgirl was one of the people I played but doesn’t change the fact she was one of the least popular characters in inj1, and subzero and turtles sold more than any other DLC for inj2.
Freddy sold the most for mk9
Scorpion sold the most for inj1
Jason/Predator sold more than basically every other dlc combined for mkx
Guest characters will only go away, when they stop being the WILDLY most popular dlc. Sales and units moved mean a lot more than people crying for that one character that won’t sell as dlc.
