So they are both between Alex/Laura/Cody and Fang as far as forward walk speed goes? You posted a list few days ago and they had 3.8 and 3.2 respectively

Oh yeah actually it was like a month ago that I posted the walk speeds. Luckily I know how to use Discourse and bookmarked it.
Alex/Laura/Cody: F = 3.8 (Cody exact 3.845)
FANG: F = 3.2
With that looks like Sagat and G both walk a notable speed faster forward than Fang and basically are inches off from Alex/Laura/Cody

Claw might be a small issue for Sagat but nobody uses Claw so who cares. Clawās pokes will probably be annoying.
Sagat isnāt losing to Sim, period. Kara DP him up the cooter.
Cammy will probably be around the 5/5 area, slight edge to Cammy.
Donāt know about Balrog, Laura and R. Mika yet since I havenāt fought them.
My FIRST game online with Sagat was with a Super Diamond Menat and I got bodied so Iām not going to count that match since I had P.E.S, Post Evo Salt.
Probably habit as well due to SF4, I dunno why but i swear his HK has like 3 different juggle properties (Queue Akhos) he has the usual CC state, the usual juggle where you can DP and then weird ass float. I think the weird float has no juggle state.
I remember in training mode I was trying to practice EX drill punishes with his stHK/fHK and depending on when I hit her out of it, the above happened shrugs
Edit: Also meaty stHP stLP DP is HNGGGGGGGG I wish he had his meaty crHP crlp DP combo for the huehue

Gachikun returning to the King, NL picking up the King (he was Ryu before Cammy any way), the kings are out to prove they can do more than flip burgers.
All this King talk and and here I am, wondering if Nemo will make G work well enough for him to pull at tournaments.
That would make me a very happy old lady.

Maybe he loses to Cammy cause she is OP but not cause of the character design, he certainly have the tools to out neutral her. There is no way on earth that he loses to Chun-Li, worst case scenario for him is an even matchup and it is most likely winning for him. I canāt see how he loses to Laura as well when she have to jump and he have a DP and most everything he does throws her far away.
Balrog will probably be a hopeless matchup, that i can see.
Sagat vs Mika will also be in his favor as much as Guile vs Mika is in Guileās favor. Just that Mikaās nature makes her able to not play the MU once she is in. But he can zone her out for sure. And again, strong zoning plus a DP means bad MU for Mika and Laura.

We need more Saglock talk because G is shaping up to be one of the best SF characters ever it seems, he has people who donāt play fighting games like emā I guess you could say he has that āQā vibeā¦just a overall good character design
Also you all who use G are slepeing on his old fashion costume or w/e it is, I think thatās as dope as the Q outfit

G is like two balance patches in his favour away from being tournament viable.
Basically they need to do something about how his presidential level works. Either make it a timer like Hakanās oil or let him start at something higher than 1 (starting at 3 will be broken though). Or maybe let him increase by two steps when cancelling from an EX move. The fact he can simultaneously be the worst and one of the best characters during a match means heās hard to balance which is probably why heās in this state right now.

Nothing the king hasnāt dealt with before. Ibuki can do the same thing except she has way better offense than Chun and air EX kunai.

Chun being able to slide under the fireball doesnāt make it a bad matchup, if she is sliding under your fireball all the time then you have a bad fireball game. Chun slide is only reactionary from a very specific range and without a VTC on deck, it doesnāt lead to anything.
She can slide under booms and could slide under Hados in S1 from Ryu, know what Ryu players did ? They spaced themselves and used st.LK to beat it and Sagatās st.LK is godlike.
Sagat doesnāt even extend his hurtbox forward with his fireballs so she canāt even predict a fireball and st.HK CC him like she does with the other shotos and Guile. So that wonāt work on the high shot and her st.HK would outright whiff on his crouching shot.
Chun have a bad jump on top, so her having a jump on him means he REALLY fucked up.
Chunās does ok in this imo because of Kikosho and poke conversions but Sagat wins the neutral hardcore.

I actually wouldnāt be opposed to this. A feeling of mine when playing him was that he could feel better as a charge character.
