SFV Lounge: It was coming and it CAME HOME. Ono is your Evo 2018 Chamion

Look at Tien. I don’t trust arcsys to deliver. Roshi would probably have generic sword-like specials with his cane, kamehameha lv1 and buffed up kamehameha lv3

NL vs Fuudo coming up. See if honest mid tier can stop the Cammy army.

that OH into stlk from Zeku LOL wtf

Laura main winning followed up by Zeku side winning. Slowly chipping away at the top tier oppression.

Infil using VT2 Menat was kinda funky. Not bad if you have a life lead but if you’re down on life seems like a worse version of Falke’s VT1.

If Peth saw what just happened im 100% he would burn SFV to a disc just to fling it

Somewhere, Bushinstyle is smiling right now. Nice work by Big Bird. That Young Zeku pressure game.

His OH has a good range, can hit the opponent from a bit far. If you focusing on blocking it, then st.lk +3 oB is gdlk for staggering in those clutch situations.

His Zeku isn’t even optimized , but Big Bird is really good at applying pressure

That Zeku match was dope I’m not going to lie I really like Zeku. I might have to look at Zeku’s damage numbers n stuff he hits harder than I thought
edit: And I guess for good reason it seems kinda hard to get a hit, at least in that match (high lvl)

rest in peace wong

I like that Big Bird at least plays to Young Zeku more which I think is the version of him that’s better for winning matches. He plays other characters so he doesn’t have to worry so much about which matchup to use O.Zeku in. Y Zeku got great walk speed and huge stun so he gets in and it gets scary. s.HP is great button.

Wong’s Menat is way too basic for the toppest of players. Doesn’t get conversions that could help him keep the life lead so he eventually is going to place a button in bad spot and it goes bad. Plus Ibuki beats Menat so that doesn’t help.

Infil already covers the neutral based Menat role and has enough optimization to keep her relevant vs other top players. Sako fills the all in on optimization role for Menat so Justin is kinda just like the all in on neutral but lacking everything else that keeps him 3rd to them. Justin needs a long range character that’s as easy to play as Cammy lol

I agree but I honestly said RIP Wong because he’s another Karin main that dropped her for “higher” tier. Very dishonorable!

He had the same problem with Karin before the nerfs any way. Just not executionally inclined enough to maximize her. He probably doesn’t want to be just another Cammy so that leaves him with Menat who unfortunately requires a lot of optimizing if you dont want to fall into life lead/pressure problems.

If they make a new strong easy character with a strong trigger he may get back up there again. Like most games though later life cycle means characters get more complicated and more things to manage. Which is not Wong’s thing.

THAT last match :open_mouth: ;-;

Laura had to lose to keep side Zeku going

Yeah, that’s surprising because Big Bird is usually too stubborn and he use O.Zeku more than necessary. YZ is straight up the best form and the better one at cornering the opponent. Old Zeku is good against Gief, Cammy and sometimes Abigail, but more the we Zekus are developing strategies the more Old Zeku is there to enhancing Young damaging combos and resets. St.HP is the truth, but the very dangerous one is ST.HK.

NL doesn’t want to lose.

Fighting upside down

Daigo looked at the Camera and said wtf is this shit

Only Infiltration Menat makes my eyes bleed, but it’s also the only one able to tame the Beast. Menat looks like a Sako character, she satisfy his combo carnival mindset, but he ended up dying because of that. Infiltration is less show off, but way more effective imo.
