Ryan Human was down to the wire. He pulled that EX headbutt on Chun df+HK out of his ass. Not getting the spacing for that c.HP to win the first match sucked. Good stuff.

Considering he don’t play SF like he was used to be, he goes even too far in this tournament. Ryan is still extremely talented, let’s see if Sagat can convince him for a full time SF return.

It seems like the buff that lets him get specials into Y.Zeku transformation allows him to keep the momentum going which Y.Zeku can capitalize on since he is so high damage and stun. Having poor AA and no real wakeup in Y.Zeku probably really hurt still but not having to waste damage/momentum on that V-skill for a turn seems strong.
Rough times when you have to root for Rashid.
I can see him going in on Sagat. He looks comfortable with Guile and Urien since they have a lot of horizontal space tools. Should fit him if he’s not worse than Alex.

Menat mirror was great when Sako was playing Infil.
Infil Jwong was the most boring shit ever.
Unoptimised bullcrap just trying to keep each other at bay and cashing in on obvious damage.

Sako can have my babies, the other two can suck it.
Infil should stick to Juri if he wants to lame it out, Jwong should just focus on Fantasy Strike or Majong for all I care

Yeah Wong just never gonna play pretty. Just not him.
Infil vs Sako is perfect balance of neutral based player vs more tech/setup based player. Get to see a lot of stuff since they’re both using a long ranged character but applying them different ways.
I wish Infil would play Juri more for certain matches that she clearly does better in than Menat, but it’s not like he’s starving for points.
I like how the base form of goku and vegeta has the old DBZ look and vegeta even seems shorter too so at least the characters models are copy and pasted like what capcom does with female models. what would be even more cool is if they used the OG vegeta and goku voices from the ocean dub to further differentiate them
