I do FUCKING LOVE coding and it’s a great career choice. Usually makes the Top 10 Best Jobs lists. It’s not really hard, explaining things to a computer in its language. Verbs are now called functions, nouns are now called objects, and pronouns are now called variables.
Easy to try out too with a web browser. Press F12 to open its console, write a line of JavaScript, screw around with it until it kinda makes sense.

I still question why in the hell Sagat’s VT1 is 3 bars. Like, what would be the logic behind it?
Speaking of Sagat, he feels like one of those characters where even if you dont know exactly what to do against him you can still kinda force your way to overwhelm the guy. It’s strange that some characters that should be bad against him are at a mild disadvantage at best

Coding is fun. It’s like working with logic puzzles. Granted, logic puzzles that occasionally stop working and don’t tell you why, but logic puzzles.
I’m also one of the dudes that love debugging. My current job involves dicking around with a poorly made configuration tool and figuring out why the fuck shit isn’t working. Detective work!

I went to uni and did a year of coding, and went to class every day hating it and myself. I pulled out for a year on a gap to redetermine what I wanted to do, cause I didn’t wanna grab a degree for a job I hate. Just been working contracts with a family business in meantime.
Now I’m in limbo as well, a little like Pav mentioned.
He CC’d his way out of the corner and got the oki rock setup for near full corner carry. Looks like he could have juggled that EX Zonk, but still got trade FTW. Both characters that have to hold pressure for a while, but once they get going they get going.
I say if the number 1 player online is a Cody player he’s probably in a good spot now. The previous number 1 players online were Birdie and Dictator players and those characters aren’t too bad.
The arcade release must be coming out soon. 3S Gods Deshiken and Hayao using Karin and Gief respectively. Karin has a lot of fundamental aspects of a 3S character and Hayao knows how to do work with grabbers.
Looking forward to seeing some Shiroitachi if he’s still playing. I know he was using Kolin in S2 and would love to see him rock V Makoto.

Shazyyy’s Cody is a weird one cause he can stomp Guile’s for free cause he was a Guile main, says it’s 5-5. But then loses to some MUs I think are deffo Cody favour more often than you’d expect.
We both agree Sim/Menat are 7-3 territory though. Those MUs are super unfair lmao.

Yeah even the short time I remember playing Cody in casuals I was telling you that Sim felt garbage for Cody, but I remember you didn’t feel it was that bad at the time. Interesting that you seem to have put that together. Once the yoga gales started coming down on me I wanted to switch back to Falke so bad. At this point I think Falke vs Sim is maybe slight advantage Sim at worse. She has a lot of great ranged tools for him and she can’t overly push his shenanigans vs her.
Menat I feel like you can probably fish a little bit with some CCs, but yeah there’s no way Cody is doing well in that match.
Nah I think I said I just didn’t play the MU enough I imagine, I still haven’t. There aren’t many good Sims in the EU with stable connections, we have some French GMs but the connection to them is absolute garbage.

I have a feeling Bonchan will be using both Sagat and Karin this year. Karin does have some bad matchups and Sagat does cover them. He’s been playing Sagat too much to not use him. That’s how Sagat has been though. Even when he could solo main Sagat in IV it still was too much effort for not enough reward. Just how it goes with the Burger King.
I dunno I feel I have enough general fighting game experience where Cody vs Sim felt like the full bust. Just no point in the match that felt worth fighting with or without trigger.
I think this match from 3 months ago sums up the matchup.
Sim can s.HP under fireballs on reaction, can v skill above the range of Cody’s V Skill and severely outmaneuvers him and has pretty free AA’s vs him if he jumps. It’s definitely a train wreck match from what I’m seeing.
I can understand how Shazzy feels about the Guile MU. I think a lot of people just suck at fighting Guile. You have to just go through a journey vs his booms until you get a spot and especially with the Guile nerfs there should be room to get in especially with Cody’s VT2. Guile isn’t flying all over the place like Sim cant full on punish every fireball he throws on reaction or anything.
Roger that hopefully the Conn is playable. Hang around here at about that time , or catch me on steam, hopefully I can brush the Mrs off to bed by that time !

I dunno about Sagat covering Karin’s matches. I think you’ll only see him flip as a point of difference.
Also no way he was t playing Karin, no brainer.
Should be good. I remember our matches were silky smooth.
We’ll play on training stage to minimise any potential lag! =)
