Random question but did Elena ever have a stigma pre-USF4? I feel her legacy in that game pretty much tarnished how she is liked.
She was too honest to have any stigma before. Other than J.Wong being known to just press b.hk with her 33 times to win a match. She was ultra simple in 3S. Like probably more simple than V Cammy

I got one and done by a Birdie today when I accidentally picked ranked instead of casual. 
1st match of the night, a shot of rum on me, he lost and ran.
Then I one and doned a Ryu on casuals that did one and done for me last night. 
He deserved that!
And I lost to a laggy Nash that’s got 7K points.

Edit: got thrown out of a throw tech too. I don’t know why these servers just have days where they decide to shit the bed for no reason. Probably one of the things that makes SF5 such a frustrating product. You figure they would’ve learned from all the other games coming out with good netcode. Instead they just kind of took a dump on it and called it a day. Terrible ass product.

This past weekend I noticed matches were shittier than usual. But you’re right that sometimes it seems like you get a bad day with the servers. I know netcode can only do so much but this shit gets ridiculous sometimes.

It’d be kind of okay if the game didn’t depend so much on a lot of frame perfect shit for its basic gameplay. If you could do reasonably well with just using normals, it’d be kind of fine. But outside of a few character, your normals are kind of wack all around. Probably why so many characters had anti air jabs. They just couldn’t find a way to fix any of that shit so they went that route with it.
A lot of shitty things about season 1 make sense if you factor them knowing the netcode was gonna be trash. Should probably switch to Falke and just play with reliable buttons for a bit. Seems like that’s the best thing to do.
I don’t think you’d like Falke. Her buttons are good but you like good lows and she lacks that.
Makes it easier to deal with people who play with the lag. The lag tactics are hilariously strong with these guys.

This game is just so damn frustrating in so many ways from its design. So much empahsis on random movement, bad normals to stop it from happening, puts me in a terrible ass mood too.
Shit, I’ve played MvC2 online and it was nowhere near as frustrating as playing this.
There you go just button people to death. Sounds more reliable with given the servers.
I can get over the hiccups if it’s a non crucial time like the start of the match and we both just mash buttons in the corner till it smooths out. But boyyy those moments where you need a clutch hit, see the hitspark AND hear the sound, only for the game to be like “nah my bad they blocked that” and go on to lose shewww.

I live hours from NY (run into NLBC people all the time), got good interwebs and play on PC (less/no frame drops offline etc) so long as I filter correctly usually get really good connections. Especially with other PC people. If I lived in some more boondocks ass area I’d probably hate the code more. It works well enough in good conditions though and maybe the Capcom gods will bless those less fortunate soon.
I even had a cross country match in ranked last night that wasn’t too bad, so once in a while you can get something not terrible that far.

Yeah, if I didn’t literally live in the middle of the Wild West it’d probably be better. Instead I got random ass mexican Kages and Ken doing random dumb shit. Oh and Ryu’s dashing all over the place hitting that minty ass +3 st.mp.
At least Power Rangers is in the horizon.
