I don’t see how sfv killed excellent adventures.
They could have carried on playing usf4, or smash brothers, guilty gear etc. It doesn’t have to be a capcom game.
They had a choice.

It’s not the game for the game but the game with all it carried, often unfair game play, all the problems from launch to pretty much now, the emphasis on esports over the community… The SFV “culture” killed the show

The show died because the show makers broke up and could not adapt to the changing landscapes. Every SF chapter is born from the ashes of its predecessor. To create, we must first destroy. This is the way. Embrace it.

Like I said, they could have continued playing USF4 till thy kingdom come. And ignore all these external factors like e-sports. No one’s stopping them.

I love Mike Ross as much as anyone else who watches excellent adventures but his behaviour is irrational as fuck.
Look at Smash Melee players. They are still playing Melee for NINETINE fucking years. Did they let Brawl or Smash 4 to affect them so badly and suddenly turn batshit crazy like Mike Ross did and scare all his friends away and wondering why none of his friends wished him happy birthday? No. They carried on with their game. This is something I really respect the Melee players for.
I understand SFV isn’t for you but to blame the cancellation of Excellent Adventures on SFV is silly.

- No Rufus
- Superior Soundtrack (except Juri’s theme)
- Better Animation
- Better graphics (C.Viper and Gouken’s models have issues)
