The beta opens again tomorrow morning and stays open for about 24 hours. It wonāt shut down again till Saturday morning. Im not stressing because I have all morning before work and all night to play Karin
I planned in advance, I have tomorrow off so Iāll be awake when 5 am rolls around and the game comes back up =P
Is it me or does the game seem to be avoiding pairing you in mirror matches ? I was playing as Mika all day and fought only one mirror, the rest was Kens and Necallis with one or two Vega players . Then at the last hour i switch to Ken and i fight 5 different R.Mikas in a row and only getting to fight Ken once in 10 matches. Maybe it is just luck or something.
Itās luck. Killey reported that he picked 5 different characters and it worked out that each time he picked a character he was put in a mirror match of that character.

Sheeeit Iāll be getting up for work a little after 5am tomorrow, but that means Iāll be home early playing that shit all night. I want to try to mess with Necalli more. I couldnāt figure shit out with him after like 10 matches. I felt like I had no gameplan going into any matches. I also really want to try Rashid.

Iāve been up since 5:30 AM today and worked about 14 hours. Slept for an hour during a break on the job LOL. Wanted to go home to play some of the beta but got too busy.
Shorter schedule tomorrow so Iām going to crack it out early then play Karin all night long.
I want to fight Karin instead of Ken. I have a feeling that Mika vs Karin match is going to be a really important matchup to learn, heh.
Though coming from my day 1 Mika knowledge, her buttons arenāt quite as good as I thought they were when I watched them on video. I mean theyāre good but, sheās really not anything crazy.
Then again that might just be because Iām still learning. Karin will probably be the same deal.
If Karinās f+HP is anything like it is in Alpha 3 Iām going to be anti air crush countering people all day. The fact that itās cancelable now too is great and makes it scarier on the ground also. Cancelable long ranged c.MK and s.MK being a solid straight poke is good as well.
I guess the best way to describe R.Mikaās normals is that theyāre good, but they require more work than they first appear. None of the ranged ones being cancelable means she still has to be in command grab range to really threaten you with heavy damage.
