I only been playing R. Mika, shes fun but im on pad i have hard time doing quarter circle motions. The one time i pick Necalli i go against Engravings and get bodied by his Vega. Lol

Her delayed s. rh is slow. It’s good but it’s slow enough that you can’t just make a game out of it. Her neutral s. mk is actually better than her f+mk imo as far as stuffing things in my experience.
What I’m learning is that her jabs are really really good. They reach far. Also I need to get in the habit of using her hcb+k throw that leaves people close to you instead of using the hcb+p all the time
She has all the tools you need, but no one thing is really all that dominant when you play against a decent player. You do have to earn it. Still learning, but hey it’s early in a beta, why not. Her s. mp is no joke either, no one really talks about that other than combos. It’s not too different from cammy’s s. mp as far as range and comboability. Has high hit stun on counterhit. I’ve learned to just do c. jab, s. mp as a frame trap/tick throw fake and I hit that pretty often.
Dumb question to ask … but … can we do custom matchmaking? or is it still random?

Heads up. PC Beta is starting soon. Hopefully it doesn’t set the CFN map on fire and no one can connect to anyone LOL.
Karin will be here later tonight. She’s the only character I wanna play so I’m not even really playing that much. I just press buttons with Vega and stop caring about winning halfway into the match.
Damn I’m really anxious to see how this cross play works. Didn’t realize PC was starting so soon. I hope they give some indication you’re playing on cross play just so we know how it compares to non cross play.
It shall be interesting to see. Hopefully they do label those that are on PC

People are saying matchmaking for cross play is pretty stable now. Just a lot of PC people having controller recognizing and button bind issues.
Button config option is non existent and someone on the Steam forums making a big list of sticks/controllers that aren’t recognized.
Smh at launching with no button config on top of the recognizing issues
