While I don’t know the exact reason they can’t fix it right now, I know that sometimes there are reasons not to change things mid-schedule, especially if you’re touching live data. Running an online beta with scheduled events requires a level of choreography, and deviating from the schedule could potentially make things worse for everyone.
I’m hoping the matchmaking gets better in off-peak hours.
Well im calling it a night 3hrs and only got 3 matches, the last match was very laggy.
I wish some of the beta testers would stop complaining and perform the task a beta tester is supposed to perform. If you don’t wanna help then don’t, just wait for official release and don’t expect the beta to be a smooth gaming experience. Worse beta ever! LOL… does that even make sense?
I like how when people were bitching in the first beta test about no local multiplayer, everyone came in and said: “This is to test the online. Be happy you can even play the game”.
And now here we are 2 months later. The 2nd beta tests online doesn’t even work and Capcom says it probably won’t even be fixed. Obviously people are bitching that they can’t even play online in a beta test to test the online. Then everyone comes in again and says: “Be happy you can even play the game”.
Are you fuckin’ serious.
How am I suppose to help Capcom test their online if it doesn’t even work period.
This beta is suppose to test the cross-platform networking. How am I suppose to do that if I can’t even connect to anyone?
Everyone was giving people shit for asking for local multiplayer in the first beta saying that it was to test the online.

I’d agree with the people defending this if this was some open beta that anyone could participate in just for shits ‘n giggles, but it isn’t.
This is part of Capcom’s marketing campaign to sell copies. They hype up these beta tests for your chance to play the game.
But when they come they’re fuckin’ broken and don’t work, and people say “be happy you can even play it”.
Sorry, but that pisses me off.
Well if you know it or not… just you being on with the script running trying to find a match is helping capcom so… they aren’t looking for balance feedback, they are trying to stabilize a network… and you are helping in that regard.

How are we supposed to test the most important thing in the beta when the majority of pleople can’t get a match? After several hours of training mode.
They removed the pre-order incentive on the PS4 after the first beta realising that it wasn’t much of an incentive, now you just have to apply. And I understand the frustrations, I really do but many game have suffered lately of server stress on release and it is my understanding that this beta is to test matchmaking and server capacity, what better way to test than to get thousands of people to try to log in and try to play inside a small time frame, they will have people monitoring all this shit and logs etc and use all this to smooth all the shit out for release… I hope!..
On a brighter note I just got my email accepting me into the PS4 beta!

I am glad finally everything is working perfectly.
Since I booted the beta today, I’ve only found scrubby ken players. I’m talking 30 or so matches, every single one of them ken. I mean, I was expecting this but fuck it I’m out.
Edit: I got a mika match as I was posting this. Maybe tomorrow people will want to test the other characters out. I’ve only played against 2 necallis and I really want to see what this character is about.
People aren’t fucking with Necalli it seems. Which is off since he’s prob the easier to use in this beta. He’s even more beginner friendly then Ken. But most my matches were against Ken’s and Mika’s. I’m gonna try to get more time in wth Necalli and Friday/Saturday.
