THE3DRAGONS apparently still cannot keep a connection with anyone online in SF4, so he is dropping out of the League. Since his two fighters are both in the GOLD division, we will promote two fighters from the SILVER division to join the GOLD division.
Now, that is the good news for everyone since it has a ripple effect across the League. The top two members (based on Week 12 results) will basically be ‘promoted’ to the next higher division. The bad news is that WEEK 13 will be composed of inter-divisional matches, so it is very possible that someone promoted to a higher division may lose their next match and fall to the bottom of their former division.
So everyone is forwarned…be ready.

That sounds like you only sent a message when you saw him online. It’s probably better to send a message the first day or two of the week and try to schedule a time to meet instead of trying to “catch each other online”.

Questions for you SALonghorn. Correct me if I’m wrong, but for this coming week’s inter-divisional meetings, it is Gold vs Silver, bronze vs A, b vs C? correct? And this is the format every time we have a inter-divisional meeting, correct? If so, assuming no one drops out, how would one every get from B to A, or from Bronze to Silver? I know you have some random weeks where people get to choose anyone they want to fight, but that seems like not very often. Just seems like we need to think about that progressive system a bit more for week 14.

You’re new to the League, but this situation is already taken care of. The format of the inter-divisional matches changes every other time. For week 13:
Gold vs Silver
Bronze vs A Division
B Division vs C Division
A new division, D Division, will be added for Week 13 for the newest members but they will not particiapte in the inter-divisional matches.
The next time we have inter-divisional matches (probably week 17), the format will change:
Gold Division: regular divisional matches
Silver vs Bronze
A division vs B division
C division vs D division
You can see that it maintains the ladder system. With the League so big, it will take time for someone to climb the rankings and divisions, but the system is in place for that to happen over time.
SILVAGST2 did message me tonite and let me know that he hadn’t been online much lately, so he would forfeit the match to you. Classy move on his part.

WEEK 13 SFCCL Notes:
Week 13 brings back the popular, but seemingly tense, Inter-Divisional Matchups. For those new members to the League, the inter-divisional matches offer the best, fairest way to either defend your position in a division OR give the opportunity to take someone elses position in a higher division. All matches are still best 2 out of 3 five-round matches, but instead of moving up or down in ranking within the same division, the WINNER of the fight moves into the higher division, while the LOSER falls to the lower division.
- THE3DRAGONS has dropped out of the League
- His two fighters in the GOLD division were replaced with Refraxions RYU and CapitolCs BLANKA from the top of the SILVER Division
- Since 3DRAGONS was in the top division, it created a domino effect for the rest of the League since fighters were promoted from the top of the SILVER division to the GOLD Division. The rest of the fighters in the SILVER division thus move up two spots, and create two vacancies at the bottom of the SILVER Division
- SILVER Division fighters promoted from the BRONZE Division: Marcopolo177 GUILE and Manwithnoarms BISON
- BRONZE Division fighters promoted from the A Division: Jinsoku_z CAMMY and Drunkengamers7 EL FUERTE
- A Division fighters promoted from the B Division: Jinsoku_z SAGAT and Drunkengamers7 SAGAT
- B Division fighters promoted from the C Division: Cynistar KEN and SBL21 BALROG
- 6 new members have joined the SFCCL for Week 13: SMOKEY_JOKER, URKELBOT45, JQUO, K-MONEY83, WILD_X_187, & REBONJI
- A new division (D Division) was created since the C Division was maxed out by some of the new members. The D Division will not participate in Inter-Divisional Matches this week
- The website has been updated (Home page, News, Rankings, Fight Schedule, League info in Forums)
- The League is 52 players (104 fighters) strong

So does mr flowers forfeit his match against me? I already posted his connection is unacceptable.
Also. Since he changed characters, Gen to Honda, apparently, shouldn’t he go to the bottom of the league ? ie. D division ?
The rules say that a fighter starts over from the bottom of the same division. It becomes too messy & creates more ‘auto promotions’ if a fighter has to start all the way at the bottom of the League.
Also, this rule was put in place to balance out the consequence for everybody. STYLISHCAJUN changed out his fighter from Sakura to Gen a couple of weeks ago in the GOLD division. If he were to fall to the bottom of the League back then, he would only have been moved down a division or two since the League was smaller. Now, with 7 divisions, starting over from the very bottom would penalize older players way more than new players. So, to keep the League from being re-shuffled everytime one person changes their mind, they automatically fall to the bottom of whatever division they are already in. This penalty is fair for everyone involved.
As far as your battle with MR FLOWERS, no one can force another player to forfeit. You can only forfeit yourself. I have yet to have any bad connections with anyone in the League, but as long as you can fight online, then you must do so. The bigger issue would be for MR FLOWERS as he would assuming, have this problem every week, thus making him want to drop out. But that is his choice.
Well we are unable to have a satisfactory connection. So I don’t know what you want us to do. Did you consider any of the options I mentioned for the Europeans and other non north Americans?
