Your opponents, MOWENS and SKRFACE13, have not said anything about not playing you. Send them both a FR and setup a time to play over the next 3 days. SKRFACE13 is over on SF4forums.com
Seems like the members of the SFCCL are split into two categories: 1.) quick to contact their opponents, or 2.) wait for someone to contact them to play. I expect this is why so many matcehs remain unplayed every week, especially if the two players fall into the second category. In that case, the match would NEVER get done. I’d hope everyone would fall into the first category, but history says it isn’t so.
I was pretty diligent about getting my matches done when I first started this. I’ll get on it, no worries.
I didn’t mean to accuse you as being one or the other. You’ve played all but one of your 6 fights coming into this week (the one match not played was due to your opponent going MIA). Thanx for all your dedication.
The new members are usually pretty good about playing when they first join. However, there have been a few that play their first two matches (win or lose), and then never play again. lol
Just to report on my match against focushin. I won 2-0. Not bad this week, 2 victories.

Super Street Fighter IV has been delayed to April 27th 
Not sure if you knew about this already or not. I still thought it was coming out end of March. Just wanted to give you a heads up in case this affects your plans and scheduling for the end of teh season
I’ll spar with you GAMBITK if we are both online. I main Ken and Bison.
According to EBgames.com, the release date is April 6th. I’ve also heard April 20th was a release date, so i was originally going to plan a regular Week 25. But when I saw the April 6th date, I cancelled my plans for Week 25 and started planning the 1st round of SUPER BRAWL for that week.
Now, if the date is pushed back to April 27th, we could still go with a regular Week 25 before starting the SB tourney. Argh…just watch them change the date again. Does Capcom not care about the SFCCL or little me!!! lol

GGs to ANAKINY2K. He won our GOLD vs SILVER match last nite (his Bison vs my Ken). I did manage to capture the match on video with my new Dazzle, so I’ll be posting it later tonite. Close match as it went down to the 3rd match, where he won 3-1.
And I will finally give you credit, SBL. The lag in the match was terrible. Everything I did was a full second behind, which is the first time I’ve ever experienced that. I was battling the lag as much as I was ANAKINY2K. When I post the video, you’ll be able to count how many times I whiffed on simple kicks. Many kicks seem to go right through him, which isn’t the norm against a Bison, only a Blanka. His Bison missed countless head stomps, but I was unable to punish him everytime b/c of the lag. Instead, I got thrown. As a Bison player myself, I know how vulnerable he is after whiffing a head stomp. The worst part (which will be clearly visable in the video) was completely missing a guaranteed combo when I manage to dizzy him. I jumped at him, but my air attack never came out,& I got nothing out of it but a crouching hard punch. Not even a basic two-in-one fireball or shoryuken. So f’n frustrating. I had to resort to mainly jabs, short kicks, or ole fashion button mashing to make sure I got something to connect. But even that is fighting an uphill battle against hard kicks, ultras, throws, EX special moves, etc.
After this dreadful performance, I am going to seriously consider making the League for US/Canada only players. I’ve always welcomed international players to the League, and had an opinion that the intl players would have to decide to stay if they consistently got bad connections. To be hoenst, it was very cool to have players from literally all over the world. Don’t know if ANAKINY2K’s connection was as bad as mine (I hosted), but it puts someone at a serious disadvantage. I’ll let this season play out normally, but it will be a consideration if/when we start a 2nd season on SUPER SF IV. Not to say that I don’t get horrible connections with US players, but the chances are less likely (unless I’m playing Marcopolo177 lol). Perhaps even a seperate international divisions, but even that won’t be very successful with a few players from all over the globe.

No lag whatsoever on my end. I dont see lag only affecting one person especially when you were the host the l;ag should affect me more but ah well. I would ask you you to bare in mind you asked me to stay in the league because we were so near the end and i agreed but if you are going to kick out all non us/canada players due to “lag” then please let me know now as i would rather not waste my time.
